We all have our struggle! A series of unfortunate events and thriving hard to survive them is how we describe life nowadays. Busy in getting our gigs done and devoting our lives to a single cause, that is where we tend to forget is that life is the name of breathing, and living every moment to its fullest. It is a worthwhile experience, not a frame of time in which we contain ourselves like a little chirping bird inside the wooden cage.
Running televisions in our lounges and constant buzzing phones in our hands keep us distracted in this happening world and we all become a part of this change. However, as the time passes, we all come to realize that if we wont stop to appreciate what we have and cherish it for a while, it would slip down our fingers like the sand in an hour glass.
The tea cup on the kitchen counter is still hot and the tiny swirls of heat that dance upon the surface, against the sunlight peeping in from the window, I can feel the warmth of my husband. I can still hear his laughter roaring in the empty kitchen and his vision holding the same tea cup and thanking me for making a wrap for him because we ran out of bread in the morning. The memory belongs to him in this very moment. However, as the day would pass the memory would vanish and I would no longer remember it as the cup would be washed out and stand still and cold in the dishes rack.
Back in the days when we all were once cherishing our childhood, remember how all of the siblings used to gather inside the living room dancing and prancing around our parents like the little chickens around their mother and how hard we tried just to put a smile on our parents’ face. I still remember the cozy drawing room with a crackling fireplace where all of us used to gather and make memories, the time when we all had time for each other. The days where we actually wanted to be with each other and yearned for the genuine warmth.
I went to my university the other day and whilst I sat down on the same table in the hallway where I spent 4 years of my life, I barely felt any connection with the place because that was the moment of realization. That was the instant where I actually realized that it is not the place or a thing that we cherish but the person who is associated with them. The table where I was filling my clearance form alone, was the same table where I used to sit and wait for my bestfriend in the morning, do projects and assignments with our classfellows, eat lunch in the noon while skipping classes and sharing lots of secrets and laughter in our free time. The fact that I could not see the same faces in the same ambiance made me feel unsettled because that place no longer belongs to us, rather, now is the time for new people to make memories there. In that very moment, I wished for the time to rewind back to that summer afternoon where we all were so happy, and together back in our days and when this place belonged to us.
Lost inside the capsule of our struggle, we forget that the people around us are the real push why we are moving forward. Parents are struggling so that their kids could have a better, brighter future, husbands are struggling so that they could get the whole world for their wives and the wives are struggling to start a new family, but what if the people we are struggling for disappear one day? A day would come when one or both parents would disappear in the photoframes and polaroids, when our partner would leave us lost and lonely, when the children would step out of their parents’ homes to start their new family. Would the struggle be same then? The home we long to return back to at the end of the day, would it be same without the people that live in it? As a matter of fact, it is the choice of genuine over temporary. We are lost amid the fancy facade of temporary people that blinds us to an extent that we are unable to see the warm, golden halo of the people that we actually need to keep in our lives.
People inhabit us like a blooming garden and they are also capable of leaving us like an ancient abandoned library that is full of magical words waiting to be rediscovered. People come and leave, one person might be our whole world in a moment and in the other moment he would be gone and that is when we think that we are on the brink of downfall and the world is collapsing, yet again we find someone who makes us believe in ourselves once again. That is where the struggle starts again, the struggle to keep that person in your life for as long as you can.
Focus on who you are with, rather than what you are doing because most of the times, amid what we are doing, we lose the people who we started our journey with. Inhabit your life with people and not struggles because the struggle is eternal but the genuine souls scattered around will fade away with time. In the end we could say that life actually is not a struggle for things, but a struggle for people. Make yourself vulnerable to time and memories, cherish the company that you have and you would see how every moment would become a walk to remember, because it is only if you stop and look for a while that the life would give you an opportunity to love what you have and keep it safe in your heart, forever.
Life surprises you, doesn’t it? A moment ago you were thinking about something and now you want something legit pole opposite. A beautiful semblance of experiences and memories, life is all about changing preferences and evolving priorities and this is totally fine.
A month ago, the only mission of this girl was to avail a foreign scholarship and fly past the globe to wander in the wet evening streets of Edinburgh and write poems about how ethereal that place is. However, here I am, sitting beside my whining husband who is struggling to sleep right now because of his headache. As I look at him at the moment, I hardly believe that he ever existed anywhere in my WHOLE universe before. This feeling is where I realised that giving up on certain things doesn’t mean that you’re off track or that you lost your chance, however, changes are always beautiful if cherished in the right way.
There are a million moments when I reflect back on how my life has changed after marriage and the only answer that rings the bells is an evolution of priorities. A lot of people and things that meant so much to me once have stepped down a bit and my new home and its inhabitants have become my prime focus. It doesn’t mean that my sisters, family and friends mean any less to me, however we can put it this way that the first thing on my mind as I wake up is to get my husband to go to office, make him a fancy-schmancy breakfast which unfortunately I can’t because he is on diet and call my mom later after.
As anxious and depressed as people get after losing something for another thing, I find it equally ecstatic because why not? The mighty mechanism of time removed something or someone from your life to replace it with the better and we all do, at some point realise that whatever changes came into our lives earlier were the master plan and if it wasn’t for that one change, you wouldn’t have been here. There is no use being afraid of the changes that life throws at you, rather embrace them learn, evolve, and grow because life demands an evolution with every passionate moment, doesn’t it? A moment ago you were thinking about making something different to eat but right now, you’re a complete sleepyhead who wants to sleep and nothing else.
Writer’s block was one other thing that I was facing throughout this time and it kind of sucked. I did panic at the start since writing was a major habit and not being able to do something that actually inspires you to live a healthy and positive life could be really bothersome. To be honest, I completely let it be and just waited for the right moment to guide my inner voice and here I am. Life eventually comes back to its zero point which is commonly known as our normal routine but it takes time. Meanwhile what we can do is to give some space to ourselves and let things simmer slowly and gradually.
Things can go completely offbeat and that’s okay because life isn’t about settling, rather it is a continuous transition. Those who learn to dance to the rhythm of this transition will fade into the realm of prosperity, however, those who resist and don’t change themselves according to the new requirements are left behind in the darkest pits of loneliness and destitution.
Considering all the pandemic curse that we all are struggling through day and night, I hope to find you all in the peace of mind and safety of health. Spring is around the corner but it’s like we don’t even have time to think about the transitioning weather as we used to do in the normal routine. This time, I would’ve been putting all the winters clothes back into the closet and taking my summer outfits out with mom, but who cares? While checking the time on my phone screen, I realized that it is the DEFENSE DAY today. A long-awaited event whose preparations started from the day-one of March. I and my peers stood eagerly on our department’s roof watching the flypast rehearsals, yet in a moment, it’s gone. Nobody’s talking about it and I cannot see even a single post about the day. It’s like every link, every bond, every loop that had kept us connected for so long has vanished all of a sudden and all that prevails is individuality. All we care about now is our own safety.
This reminds me of how uncertain everything is and how ignorant we all have been while we had time. In planning our life-time achievements, we forgot what we had at that moment. While looking for more and most, better and the best, we lost what we needed to cherish the most; our friends, beloved, family, teachers, liberty, independence to breathe free, nature, evening strolls, meet-ups with cousins and fam. In my lifetime experience, I have never seen such a morose situation before. This situation could be best described as a feeling where everything is there as it used to be yet we are not able to feel them in their place. It is as if we wake up one morning and all the calendars become white, blank pages hanging on the walls, all the mobile phones lose track of time, dates, schedules, events, and planners where all we are left with are memos and diaries.

Don’t you feel like there is something that is depressing and killing us more from the inside than the fear and melancholy of this pandemic virus? Regret! Regret that we could’ve been a bit more considerate towards ourselves and a little more forgiving towards the other people around us? Tell me you are not missing your class-fellows even the ones you don’t like personally? Don’t you feel guilty about your stubborn attitude towards life? How life gave us chances to learn, grow, be a better person, help others, be wild and free, but we wasted them either overthinking about tomorrow or mourning over the past. We are too unforgiving and too harsh when it comes to our own past or that of others, and too curious about what tomorrow will bring. We have failed as a human race. Cruelty is a common practice, arrogance over worldly things is a status symbol, show-off over nothing, making others feel bad about their own-selves, belittling others, violence, suicidal thoughts, mockery, injustice, lies, murder, animal violence, terrorism, rape of emotions and bodies likewise, accusations, accusations, and accusations! When would we stop and realize that it is we who need to change ourselves individually and not others.
#Judgeothersforwhotheyare went viral in 24hrs on Twitter.
When would we aim the cleansing gun towards ourselves instead of firing the mud balls at others? We need to emerge and behave as the superior race on this earth. We have a responsibility not to take care of ourselves and our fellow-beings only, but all the animals, plants and other creatures that are breathing around us. A patch of grass in the shade is dependent on humans to quench its thirst by watering it. Don’t go too far, just remember the Australian wild-fire. How scared those kangaroos and Koalas were as they hugged their human rescuers just because they were too scared of the fire, being unable to figure out whatever was happening. Moreover, where have all the hate and differences led you? All around the globe, people are struggling and suffering likewise. It is a global dilemma that teaches us to give up on our differences because no matter what, one thing will always remain common in us; Flesh and Humanity. We all are born the same and we die the same death, so what is all this arrogance about? Let’s just break this I-am-right-and-you-are-wrong glass wall that we have constructed between us and utilize your time in something eternal; something that would leave your marks on the earth even when you have ascended to the heavens.
#Judgeyourselfandbeabetterperson broke all the previous hashtag records on twitter by going viral in a blink on Twitter.
Now that we have so much time to pamper ourselves, do self-care, focus on self-development, pray to God, meditate, eat healthy at home (unlike regular days where we have to eat junk from cafeterias), write journals, feel the inner voice that we have been suppressing all our lives. Carpe Diem! Live in the moment and try to make the best out of it. Live, Breath, Inhale and Love yourself while you still can. Talk to your family, Laugh, Share and Care for your loved ones. Stop thinking about what could’ve been done or what could be done tomorrow. We have time, yet here we are, again looking forward to when things would get back to normal. We are in a haste, we always have been! And this is our tragedy, “Impatience” is surely our fatal flaw. Stop! Be patient! Bow down your stiffened necks a little bit! Persistence is the key and we will get through this together, fresh and new.
What matters the most is when the sun will shine brighter again, and we will get out under the deep blue sky once again, lets make sure the pandemic inside our hearts is the one that is actually gone, and we come out clean; forgiving, considerate, humble, responsible, contributing and positive than ever. Lets make a vow and sanitize our hearts from this ‘Myocardial Pandemic’ once and for all!
I hope you all are as charming as always and cherishing your life to bits 🙂 I am here with a new article that I’ve been wondering to write on for the past two days. This is about how you can surround yourself with positive vibes all the time without being bored, lazy and depressed. So without any further delay, let’s dive into the blog <3
1. Keep your space clean:
Be it your room, personal study, working space, or research cubicle, make sure you keep your space neat, clean, and organized.
A study led by associate professor Nicole R. Keith, Ph.D., research scientist and professor at Indiana University, found that people with clean houses are healthier than people with messy houses. Keith and her colleagues tracked the physical health of 998 African Americans between the ages of 49 and 65, a demographic known to be at an increased risk for heart disease. Participants who kept their homes clean were healthier and more active than those who didn’t. In fact, house cleanliness was even more of a predictor for physical health than neighborhood walkability.
A 2010 study published in the scientific journal Personality and Social Psychology Bulletinused linguistic analysis software to measure the way 60 individuals discussed their homes. Women who described their living spaces as “cluttered” or full of “unfinished projects” were more likely to be depressed and fatigued than women who described their homes as “restful” and “restorative.” The researchers also found that women with cluttered homes expressed higher levels of the stresshormone cortisol.
In 2011, researchers at Princeton University found that clutter can actually make it more difficult to focus on a particular task. Specifically, they found that the visual cortex can be overwhelmed by task-irrelevant objects, making it harder to allocate attention and complete tasks efficiently.
A survey conducted by the National Sleep Foundation found that people who make their beds every morning are 19 percent more likely to report regularly getting a good night’s sleep. People who were surveyed also reported benefits from having clean sheets — specifically, 75 percent of people said they get a better night’s rest when their sheets are freshly cleaned because they feel more comfortable. (Psychology Today, 2016)
2. Organize Yourself:
Organizing yourself is the easiest thing in this world to do right now. In this modern era of technology where people are becoming quite organized and sensible day by day, it is very easy to get planners, and organizers from different websites and online stores. Planners give you a next-level sense of responsibility and future planning.
From to-dos to the grocery list, from tasks to homework, from house chores to paying bills, from class schedules to birthday reminders, everything can be penned-down in a single notebook that you can proudly call as your planner. I decorated a beautiful planner in last winter vacations and am using it successfully since then. I also implemented several creative ideas like my yearly transformation to track down my fashion sense and photography skills enhancement. I will stick a fresh picture ate the end of every month below the respective month name. Also, I created a birthday tracker of my friends and family that helped me in reminding the birthdays of my friends which I always forget otherwise, thus earning much disappointment.
3. Time for a Change:
I don’t know about others, but a lot of Asians seems to have this particular habit of keeping the old things for years while purchasing new things simultaneously. It is totally understandable that some things are very dear to us and we cherish them forever, but we shall keep this in mind that:
A change is always beautiful!
Have an old rose-flower pot on your study for two years? Time to replace it with new crystal crockery with fresh lilies instead. Have a vintage wallpaper in your room for too long? Why not try a summer color this time? Have a cute cactus by your bedside? Let’s bring a sunflower pot in its place this season. Been sipping on this bright red mug all winters? The whole supermarket is filled with beautiful new mugs in pastel colors that you are absolutely going to love. Replacing old things with new ones always help to rejuvenate your mind and keeping your soul alive. Whereas, decluttering the old stuff is important to avoid mess and useless cluttering. It is true that old is gold, but a fresh change always motivates us to do something beautiful and unique. A change always helps us in making miracles happen.
4. Green heals the soul:
Color psychology suggests that different colors can evoke psychological reactions. For example, color is often thought to have an impact on moods and emotions. Sometimes these reactions are related to the intensity of a color, while in other cases they are the product of experience and cultural influences.
How does the color green make you feel? For many people, it has strong associations with nature and immediately brings to mind the lush green of grass, trees, and forests. Perhaps because green is so heavily associated with nature, it is often described as a refreshing and tranquil color.
“Green, which is Nature’s colour, is restful, soothing, cheerful, and health-giving.” – Paul Brunton
According to color psychology, green is a color of balance and harmony which is very important to keep your mind and thoughts intact while living. The green color is reported to give you a sense of fresh start and a punch of positive thoughts and ideas every morning. To inculcate green in your environment, you can go from minimal to grandeur. From keeping a cactus on your bedside to raising a palm tree in your garden, from hanging a spider plant in your window to growing a dragon tree in your living room, you can surround yourself with the greens, and ultimately attracting the positive aura.
Green is a color that can evoke powerful emotions. It is a dominant color in nature that makes you think of growth. Think of nature and see the incredible variety of shades of green expressing renewal and life. Green evokes a feeling of abundance and is associated with refreshment and peace, rest and security. Green helps people feel rested and secure. People are invited to wait in the “green room” before going on camera to relax. Many doctors even use green in their offices to put patients at ease. Green encourages a balance in your brain that leads to decisiveness. However, green may also be perceived negatively when associated with materialism, envy, and possessiveness (Christi Wharton, 2019).
5. Do not argue about un-knowledgeable things:
It is the most common behavior of us humans that we have to participate in almost everything even if we are unacquainted by the context and background knowledge. I have learned this thing from my personal experience actually!
A lot of the times, if some controversy breaks out, we all become the scholars and start judging or defending a certain party without knowing the whole story, and without analyzing both sides. This behavior is spreading 99% of the negativity in this world today. What actually happens is that when we start a social media fight without complete knowledge, and somebody else (who is acknowledged and learned) confronts us, we, unable to defend our claim start being intolerant by bad-mouthing, hating and criticizing the character of the other person. Such a situation creates a very destructive atmosphere where we learn nothing but extremism, intolerance and destructive criticism. Also, as a piece of advice, stay away from politics if you want your mind to work without any bounds and bias. Live as an individual and give your stance likewise without being under any impact and influence.
6. Witness Maximum Positivity:
What if you decorate your bedroom’s wall with all the bloodshed and warfare images from the time of Hitler? How would you feel whenever you’d look at those pictures throughout the day and the night? On the other hand, if you put up vibrant frames displaying positive quotations, rainbow and sunshine depiction, plants and unicorn portrayals, you would feel completely different than the earlier scenario.
Being a student, I own four notebooks, a bag, planner, laptop, phone, USB, wallet, makeup bag, pencil pouch and a collection of different pens and markers. To witness the maximum positivity, I decorate my notebooks myself in the vacations or the semester break with all of my favorite morale-boosting quotations.
Moreover, I have made a bunch of photo frames and wall-hangings displaying my own happy-drawings and positive-paintings. You can also implement this witness-maximum-positivity phenomenon in your life and trust me you will feel an emergence of positive aura inside yourself. I made multiple bookmarks to help myself in not-giving-up on a book and to carry on with a punch of colorful motivation. My planner also has this new-year-resolution front page that reminds me of what I have achieved so far and what is already left, what do I need to improve and how better can I get? Being a free-lancer, I have selected a minimal laptop wallpaper that says “Create” and trust me the wallpaper alone helps me with writing new things and creating new ideas when I am feeling bland. I also decorated one of my notebooks with my favorite J.K. Rowling’s quote that says:
“It is important to remember that we all have magic inside us!”
This quote helps me in my mood swings throughout the lectures, it boosts my morale when I score lesser than expected in any exam, and cheers me up when I achieve something great! Below is a collection of my personal contribution to make my life witness more positivity throughout the day. 🙂
I hope this article would help most of you guys. Happy Blogging! 🙂
Is our life really a fairytale? What are the secret codes?
We are all obsessed with these fairy tales. This is a modern fairy tale where there are no happy endings is the common phrase which we have been listening since we grew up.
Fairies and evil spirits, noble kings and queens, beautiful princesses and brave princes, mysterious castles and abandoned huts somewhere in a thick a wood… This is all about fairy tales.
Fairy tales are always associated with childhood which always reminds us that love rules the world and the Goodwill always defeat the Evil.
I was raised to believe in magic, fairy tales, and true love. These stories were the influences that were intended to mold my mind; the things that were created to stir my imagination. Granted, most of the dragons in my life were people with bad intentions, but each story helped to build a stronger version of myself; even if it was just while I was reading.
But the only apples I grew up with lacked any trace of coma-inducing poisons. The only people who helped me cook or clean were my family. The only beasts in my life resided in my own head. There was no magic, just illusions. There were no fairies, no evil villains. The only “tales” in my life were on animals; tails. True love became a thing people only talked about and was quickly replaced by desperation, lust, and infatuation; coupled with dating apps and friend requests. It was no longer something that would happen naturally or over time. I grew up with magic, but once I matured, the only magic I knew was left behind in the books of my youth. As the time passed by life became monotonous until I met the love of my life. That day I came to know that a real life could be a fairytale if we want it to be. The real prince is not only tempting in his looks but the one who can protect you, whose mere presence is more powerful than a fort. All of a sudden, I started to feel magic in all the once boring places where my beasts previously nested. My dim corners and vacant spaces were suddenly vivified and occupied with thoughts of him. The warmth of his touch, a feeling of his kiss, the colors I once saw as faded and dull suddenly turned into glistening and exotic hues. The people I once viewed as mundane are suddenly more stimulating. My dreary and monotonous outlook on life has become more optimistic and spirited. My world has become more beautiful. The books always cautioned about tragedy and complications. That, I think, is the only part that I’ve found incorrect. With him, the man I never thought I would ever find, there is no tragedy that awaits me; no life-altering complications are in the distance either. I truly do feel that all of the tragedies and villains that have been a part of my life are now conquered: that maybe this is what “happily ever after” looks like.
I could finally prove to myself that love is something that sometimes “just happens.” He came at a time I wasn’t looking for anything, and I’ve happily stumbled upon something that could be everything. I convinced myself of the thing I thought would never find. Love doesn’t always come in our happiest times; it sometimes comes after years of struggle and despair. Love isn’t just a few pretty words in some old books. Love can be an amazing feeling that, if you work for it, could change you forever. I think that’s what they meant by “happily ever after.”
Hello there, hope you all are having lovely days and magical nights. This post is just for you so that next time you encounter any difficulty, just make sure to keep these difficulty codes in mind which might make your life equivalent to the miserable life of Cinderella or the magical luck of the Beast that earned him a beautiful princess, despite being ugly. Never lose hope and always remember that you are the real prince or princess of your life’s story. Fairytales themselves tell us that life is the name of uncertainty and if there is no pain, there will be no gain. They tell us how we have to wait and be patient with life in order to extract all the positivity out of this world. Life never plays easy on anyone. We all have to go through them tricky trials and failures at times. Fruit can never be reaped without love, patience, kindness, hope, positivity, sharing and generosity. If we take an example here, Cinderella had to face all the miseries and sufferings like domestic violence, poor status, body shaming, and lower self-esteem from her stepmother as well as stepsisters but she survived all these thorns and rose beautifully. We all have a savior of our life as the fairy Godmother rescued Cinderella. This magical imagination will not only make your life worth it but also will help you in being brave and courageous. Relate your life with the fairytales and if you don’t feel like your life is the imitation of any, make your own fairytale. Have your own dream princess, your own difficulties, and villans. If I talk about my life, I think I am Queen Elsa from Frozen as my life is full of tricky promises and hard trials. I am extremely strong but at times harmful to my loved ones. Isolation is my ultimate refuge. I am Queen Elsa. Who are you?
There are stars inside you that makes you beautiful with what you have and who you are. Re discover your own stars rather than stealing others’s.
This is survival of the fittest. No matter how good a moment seems to be, we are going to be ungrateful for the things we have got and cry over the things that could have been done. We all have got our own charm and potentials and it is absolutely okay if anybody is better than you in any aspect of life. Maybe he can’t do what you are capable of doing. Discover your charm and reflect the shine and spark!
Let me tell you a story, Samantha was a gorgeous lady who lived a lavish life with her handsome husband. She had everything we can ever dream of. She used to go shopping with her friends and did many world tours throughout her life. One day she bought brand new Bugatti Chiron that worth $ 2.7 million. Later that night she opened up her Instagram account and saw her friend Louis’s story in which he was flashing his Limited Edition Bugatti Veyron by Masonry Vivere worth $3.4 million. Samantha threw her phone on the bed and said in anger “People are never going to let me live peacefully.”
Samantha bought flight tickets for vacations in Maldives Island but when she saw Eleanore’s story about her bachelor’s party in Dubai, this stressed-out Samantha even more. She canceled the plan of visiting the Maldives and booked a flight to Dubai instead. Samantha bought a box of chocolate worth $500 as a gift for Eleanore while Diana brought a lavish bottle of red wine worth $1000. This made everyone’s jaw dropped. Samantha drank the whole night in despair and anger until she had a mouthful of vomit at the end. Samantha became a depression patient and died out of high alcohol dosage one night in her luxury residence at the beach.
This is not about Samantha, we all are Samantha in one way or another. In this article, I am going to discuss some evil traits that destroy our internal beauty and the stars we possess one by one without we even knowing it.
Envy and Jealousy steal your stars:
Envy and jealousy are two major factors that lead us to the destruction of our happiness and satisfaction stars. These emotions lead us to frustration and hypocrisy. Jealousy is when you are fiercely protective and possessive about your own belongings while envy is getting aroused by someone else’s possession. Them both makes us ugly as we care less about our success and happiness while dwelling more about others. We are less ourselves and more others. Your originality ends where envy and jealousy starts. These both connotations are very evil and we should try as much as possible to stay away from them. Envy and jealousy lead us to crime, thoughts of defaming and harming the other person.
Everyone is beautiful in his and her own way. I don’t have to be YOU in order to be perfect. I am supposed to be me because if I were to be you, God would have never created me who I am in the first place.
Many reported cases show that jealousy and envy had lead to more crime and murders in teens. Either it is upon youth, physique, intelligence, relationships, wealth, health, beauty or EX, below are some crime reports that represent the true devastation of human lives out of envy and jealousy.
Envy:
1. In one of the most disturbing murder cases ever, now infamous Gertrude Baniszewski, alongside her teenage children, viciously tortured and murdered 16-year-old Sylvia Liken in 1965. Liken and her sister was placed under Baniszewski’s care by their parents, who worked in a carnival, for several months.
During this time, Baniszewski repeatedly “punished” Sylvia Liken for prostitution and pregnancy, though she was actually a virgin while delivering bizarre sermons about the filthiness of women. She encouraged her children to torture Liken as well, including pushing her down the stairs and making her eat human faeces until Liken finally died of brain haemorrhage and shock.
Baniszewski later claimed she was on drugs the entire time, but it’s been theorized she was jealous of Liken’s beauty and youth, while Baniszewski herself had been marred by many troubled relationships in her past. She was let out on parole after just twenty years in prison. (source: https://www.ranker.com/list/jealous-killers/elle-tharp)
Jealousy:
2. When 60-year-old business woman Sadie Hartley got back together with her old boyfriend Ian Johnston, she had no idea the jealous rivalry she ignited. Sarah Williams, 35, had slept with Johnston while he was single and seemingly became obsessed. The pair continued to communicate through occasional sexting once he was back together with Hartley.
But Williams saw one roadblock, and that roadblock was Hartley. So she enlisted her longtime friend, Katrina “Kitt” Walsh, to plan the perfect murder. The two women spent a year plotting up ways to kill Hartley, which Walsh documented meticulously in her diary. In January 2016, after enacting a “dry run” of the crime with a fake flower delivery, Williams entered Hartley’s home, used a stun gun on her, and stabbed her to death. Despite all their planning, the two were apprehended not long afterwards, and both were found guilty of murder. (source: https://www.ranker.com/list/jealous-killers/elle-tharp)
How well do you remember the first fight with your beloved cousins over your boyfriend or girlfriend? Yes, we all cherish our childhood with our cousins and friends whereas, a single person appears out of nowhere and suddenly steals your heart. You become so possessive about him that even a word against him is a matter of life and death for you. Remember! a true love makes you feel free rather than caging you in the shackles of insecurities, doubts, and confusions. Jealousy is an indicator that either you don’t trust your partner or your partner is not worth to be trusted. In both the cases, you are living a life of dishonesty with yourself and with your partner. It could be well explained by this saying:
The person who is meant to be yours will never give up on you and if that person leaves, he had never been yours 🙂
Live a life of freedom and love wildly! Love is free of bounds and constraints. Love is for everyone and no matter how hard you might try, you can never stop anyone from loving anyone. Love is blind and deaf. Envy is as if you are trying to copy Donald Trump while you yourself look like Rihanna. You are you! Own yourself and your belongings and love yourself more than anyone else could ever do. If you would not make your worth, nobody is gonna recognize your value.
Stop Imitating and comparing yourself:
Everything in this world is not meant to be yours. You will not get everything you wish for. Your dream might be a nightmare for someone else. This is what makes us unique and different from each other.
Back in 2017, I tried to copy a beautiful hairstyle of Zooey Deschanel. I cut down some bangs and thought that I would transform into a beautiful diva 😀 Whereas, I ended up looking like an absolute jerk! So I took this weird picture down below in the honor of my stupid most decision. 😀 It’s good to TRY and LEARN new things but the craving and passion for transforming yourself completely or trying and be someone else are useless as well as painful. I destroyed my hair and still, I can’t style my hair because of them rotten bangs I once dreamed of having. Even if I would have gone to a saloon for this haircut, let me mention you here that my hair texture does not support bangs at all. 🙁
See, everything is not meant to be yours and you have your own style and look. Own that and rock it! If I am Zarbakht, I have to make my own style and identity rather than to start writing my blogs as Angeline Jolie to get more followers 😀
Now, what should I do? Shall I start crying the hell out of me because I can never look like Zoee? Shall I get myself bald just because my hair is useless and I can’t ever have them sexy bangs? No, instead I made my own style, I keep my flicks long now and hair curled up as they naturally are. And I guess people like them the way they are because at times people ask me “how do you manage to curl your hair every morning?” Ha-ha, I think I look much better this way.
Now I am going to show you some people who tried to transform themselves into famous celebrities through plastic surgeries and laser treatments. They ended up ruining their pretty faces even after going through pain and trouble.
I feel pity for her, just look at her before and after transformation. She was such a cutie but she didn’t own her identity and lost her originality as well.
Look at this diva, Shauna Sand is yet another plastic surgery obsessed quasi-celebrity who is famous for all the wrong reasons. She transformed herself into some celebrity and ended up looking like this. To be honest, I envy how beautiful she used to be before. Just Kidding! But she was really very pretty before. Wasn’t she?
There are many more such cases in which people ruined their faces and lost their originality in order to look like some other person. See, we might not like ourselves the way we are, but somewhere, someone is also copying us because we can’t often see the real stars we have inside us that others can clearly see. Just find your own beauty and enhance it. Rather than losing your identity. This is mere envy and one should keep away from it. You are beautiful just the way you are 🙂
Just because you’re not thin does not mean you’re ugly. You are beautiful because of the light you carry inside you. You are beautiful because you say you are, and you hold yourself that way.

Back in 2017, when I was very vigorous with changing my looks, Auburn hair dye was very trending then. I bought a pack for me and dyed my hair Auburn. Thinking that this colour is going to suit me a lot and my skin tone will go exactly with it, I forgot to bleach my already jet black hair. Well, when I washed my hair, my mother and sister criticized me a lot. They said that I am giving a straight outta gutter look and also, you look like a filthy beggar who had never washed his hair since forever. This was terrible! 😀 But I coped up with all the harsh comments and was very confident about that horrible look of mine. 😀 See, I had no choice than to accept my fault and learn from it. So I embraced that very look as my punishment. And trust me, it doesn’t make any difference. It doesn’t make any difference either my hair was black or brown. People didn’t notice at all because it was just a minor brown shade that my black hair picked up from that loaded bag of hair dye. I was happy because I knew that this color is going to fade away eventually so it’s not a biggie. But think about those girls who changed their looks permanently. It is true that with envy comes greater problems.
Stop hunting for more and more and own your stars:
We see a lot of fresh faces entering our media and with an interval of time, we see a sudden maturity on their once a cute face. Maturity is good if developed with time. These actresses turn themselves into mature ladies and when they actually get mature, they start undergoing surgeries to look younger and fresh. This is just like a hunt. You start with fish and a time comes when you aren’t satisfied with the number of lions you hunt every day.
There is no room for a complainer in a universe of law, and worry is soul-suicide. By your very attitude of mind you are strengthening the chains which bind you, and are drawing about you the darkness by which you are enveloped, Alter your outlook upon life, and your outward life will alter.
Build yourself up in the faith and knowledge, and make yourself worthy of better surroundings and wider opportunities. Be sure, first of all, that you are making the best of what you have.
Do not delude yourself into supposing that you can step into greater advantages whilst overlooking smaller ones, for if you could, the advantage would be impermanent and you would quickly fall back again in order to learn the lesson which you had neglected.
-James Allen
James Allen, a British philosophical writer explained it beautifully that you cannot ask for more and more until and unless you excel and master in what you already have and what you already possess. Love yourself and own your possessions, only then, nature will grant you this right to have more and better. If we aren’t happy with what we are today, trust me tomorrow can never earn us satisfaction and content because people who are greedy for more have no tomorrow and no best. Be thankful for what you have and love yourself whilst struggling for the betterment of your future. History had witnessed many Kings and Queens who tried to get more while they already had more than enough, they always ended up with bloodshed and brutality.
As the child at school must master one standard before passing onto the next, so, before you can have that greater good which you so desire, must you faithfully employ that which you already possess.
The parable of the talents is a beautiful story illustrative of this truth, for does it not plainly show that if we misuse, neglect, or degrade that which we possess, be it ever so mean and insignificant, even that little will be taken from us, for, by our conduct we show that we are unworthy of it.
Perhaps you are living in a small cottage, and are surrounded by unhealthy and vicious influences.
You desire a larger and more sanitary residence. Then you must fit yourself for such a residence by first of all making your cottage as far as possible a little paradise.
Keep it spotlessly clean. Make it look as pretty and sweet as your limited means will allow. Cook your plain food with all care, and arrange your humble table as tastefully as you possibly can.
If you cannot afford a carpet, let your rooms be carpeted with smiles and welcomes, fastened down with the nails of kind words driven in with the hammer of patience. Such a carpet will not fade in the sun, and constant use will never wear it away.
By so ennobling your present surroundings you will rise above them, and above the need of them, and at the right time you will pass on into the better house and surroundings which have all along been waiting for you, and which you have fitted yourself to occupy.
Perhaps you desire more time for thought and effort, and feel that your hours of labor are too hard and long. Then see to it that you are utilizing to the fullest possible extent what little spare time you have.
It is useless to desire more time, if you are already wasting what little you have; for you would only grow more indolent and indifferent.
-James Allen
Let’s find the stars inside us:
You know there are stars inside you and every time you look at yourself and smile with content and thankfulness that you have a sound face, healthy body and a brilliant mind, you give birth to a shining star inside your soul. When you compliment random people on the way to school about how fresh they look and how beautiful they are, another star is born with flying colors. Many children are born with disabilities or mental disorders. My own brother died a day after his birth when doctors claimed that if he somehow manages to survive, he will be a special child. He might be mentally retarded or deaf. My brother died right after a day because he wasn’t able to make it into this world. Doctors also warned my mother that she might not be able to have a normal baby ever again. My mother was devastated but she never gave up. Our willpower and optimism beat the weak obstinacies of life. My mother gave birth to me and later after, she had four more beautiful daughters. We have a perfect family and all the credit goes to my mother. She could have gone into the depression upon this news of not having a normal baby again. She could have given up on trying due to this fear of losing another beautiful baby. It wasn’t easy for her but she did it! Just because she never gave up, she was able to raise us well and good. We never had the slightest hint of any dismay or depression from her side which resulted in a happy family we have today. If we imagine a vice-versa situation, we would be having a depressed mother who fights on and off with our dad thus leading into a terrible atmosphere of our home. Our decisions not only affect ourselves but also the ones we love. We all are beautiful with shining stars of good moral values, uniqueness, happiness, strength and originality within us. Don’t let those sparkling stars fade away into the dark holes of envy, jealousy, imitation, comparisons, torturing yourself with useless predictions, self-shaming, and pessimism. Own yourself and let those stars reflect the inner light of yourself. Remember yourself as a kid; your purity and innocence.
We have long forgotten the stars inside us into the dusty racks of our artificial beliefs and sky-high set of expectations, perfectionism, and fierce obsessions. Stop with what you are trying to be and find who you are. Rediscover the magic you possess and let the cauldron of your true-self, your original identity and self-esteem bubble and bubble and bubble!
Here, I found a relatable song as well. Happy reading sugar cakes and don’t forget to love yourself. You are beautiful just the way you are. Just keep this in mind, there are stars inside us. Don’t waste your divinity!
