Personality is the glitter that sends your little gleam across the footlights and the orchestra pit into that big black space where the audience is.
-Mae West
While taking my bubbly morning bath, I looked at myself into the big mirror adjacent to my bathtub. Wearing the towel robe I stepped out of the water. I chose a pink shimmer palette out of my cosmetic’s medley and made a trail of glitter on my cheekbones with my finger. I stood there for a fine 15 minutes staring at my glitter kissed cheekbones; lost into very strange thoughts. It was kind of a daydream or whatever but it pushed me to write this article. Glitter is the prettiest thing in this universe. It is a healer and a concealer. Glitter can hide all the flaws and can cheer up almost any living thing in this world. We all love glitter and try to use it in our life anyhow so I thought of wearing glitter for a day. Dropping my robe on the floor, I carefully started sticking exotic glitter to my naked body. There I stood sparkling bright than forever; ready for a magical day ahead.
We are on a journey of awakening. Every day is a new day with new freshness, new sunshine, new attributes and new faces. We can never expect anything to be the same every day. This is how we melt ourselves into the mould of acceptance and thanksgiving. When I wore the sparkling glitter, I had new adventures waiting for me out there.
Glitter trail:
As I left my home, I left a bright glitter trail behind me. This trail turned many heads and people came to meet me all by themselves and gave me more respect and importance than ever. I showered glitter everywhere; drank wine, glitter kiss on the glass, sat on the sofa, Voila! A glitter stain. I was shocked but also felt butterflies in my stomach. People gave me sweet smiles and giggling waves. I loved it! I loved how exactly everything was and prayed silently that this might never end. Everything was perfect. I was perfect! Now, let’s replace this trail of glitter with your humbleness and dignity. Humbleness is all about giving. When you are humble, you are not a harmful element for this society in any way. This makes people fall in love with you because respect is always for respect. Dignity is about taking. No matter how humble you are, no matter how kind you are, never lose your dignity. Love yourself and give yourself the right importance because those who don’t recognize themselves can never make their worth. Humbleness and dignity are the glitter trail that you can actually leave behind you. It will surely turn every head wherever you go and people will always remember you in good words. Everyone will talk lavishly behind your back and you will get all the prestige and appreciation.
Sparkly handshakes:
I shook many hands and left them all glitter pigmented. It was as if I am a fairy god-mother who is casting her magic spells on Cinderella. Everyone was happy and impressed. They did handshakes again and again with me while their chuckles echoed in the air. Now, let’s replace that glitter pigment with pure affection and generosity. No matter how kind we are, we often lack generosity. We might love the people around us but sometimes we are not very lavish in appreciating them and acknowledging their value in our life. See, you do leave a comment on a post but forget to be generous and hearty in appreciating the blogger that put a lot of effort in his/her writings. Secondly, whatever you do, keep it pure. Flattery and exaggeration might please the other person for the time-being but it stains your heart badly. Flattery turns into envy and jealousy in no time. So love people and recognize their importance from the core of your heart. Cherish it and make their day. This will surely make people get attracted to you and you will have an amazing and genuine company for your whole life.
Shimmering fairy dust:
I cuddled my pup and there he was, fur-filled with shimmer. Upon feeding the cat on the wall, she was also sprinkled with my fairy dust. The little bug that I touched on the leaf spike sparkled brightly in the sunlight. I tickled and giggled with the children of my street and they started poking me to see the magic happening. The shining lacquer was dripping down their fingers.Replace the shimmering lacquer and fairy dust with humanity and kindness. Humanity is the best of all the faiths and beliefs. It works wonders both for you and for this world. This world is established on the pillar of humanity and we have to continue with this magical belief. Humanity is for all, either it is animals, plants, water bodies and human beings. We have to be kind to feel the real essence of life. Humanity involves all the feelings and duties that you should perform being an active member of this society. You are born for a reason, find that motive of yours and accomplish your duties. Your behaviours affect everything around you directly or indirectly. So keep in mind, to be happy, satisfied and to keep others content. Serve as a human first.
A hypothesis was formulated by the chemist James Lovelock and co-developed by the microbiologist Lynn Margulis in the 1970s. Lovelock named the idea after Gaia, the primordial goddess who personified the Earth in Greek mythology
Gaia Hypothesis:
Gaia hypothesis hypothesizes that Earth is alive and it maintains the conditions necessary for its survival. Our planet functions as a single organism that maintains conditions necessary for its survival.
It provides us with information about the interaction of physical, chemical, geological and biological processes on earth. The beliefs of this theory are:
Earth is a single living entity
The salinity of oceans remains constant even when the river salts and acid rains etc could have increased it up till now.
Temperature is regulated by clouds; one day it was extremely humid, the other day it will rain.
Continents move, drifting apart on their crustal plates
Earth act to regulate the flow of energy in it and recycling of materials.
Captures energy in the form of heat for photosynthesis and life on earth gives us warmth that is I think a very motherly gesture.
However, man is working against the natural processes of the earth so it could be perceived that these adjustments by earth would exclude man one day.
We have a direct relationship with our earth
When the earth was observed from the moon, it appeared to be alive; breathing oxygen, whereas all other planets appeared to be dead.
We can take an example here:
As the human body is a self-regulating entity and has pH, lungs, stomach, nerves, senses etc and if anything alien enters our body, it would be eliminated by our immunity system in one way or another. Similarly, the earth is like our body, rivers and water bodies are its blood, its atmosphere is its lung, lands are its bones and living organisms are its senses. If anything harmful enters the earth, it will exclude it anyway.
Glimmering hugs and cuddles:
My boyfriend came over to my place and we hugged and cuddled each other. He was amazed by his girlfriend’s mermaid transformation. My man enjoyed a lot and we played touching our fingertips, doing shiny pinky promises, blowing flying glitter kisses and leaving his lips shining with glitter gloss.
What if we replace the glimmering cuddles and shiny pinky promises with sincerity and truthfulness? Sincerity is the key ingredient for the pudding of relationships. This world will become a heaven if everybody gets sincere with the people around them and the relationships and responsibilities they have to fulfill. What a devoted world it would be. Truthfulness is like a surgery that hurts so bad but cures for life. It is a one time pain that eventually sets you free from every shackle of dishonesty and sufferings, fears and troubles. While a lie is like a painkiller that gives you instant relief but leaves it’s side effects forever. Always choose honesty and loyalty over lies and deception. Be loyal to yourself and to every person around you.
Glowing divinity:
At the end of the day, the glitter started to fade away. Slowly and steadily all of it was gone and I stood naked in front of that same mighty mirror from where the story started. My heart started to glow inside my chest. I made this whole fantasy of mine. I have got the real power to write my own story. It’s innate. It’s inbuilt, so why underestimate ourselves? If we replace this glowing heart with two secret magic potions of loving yourself and willpower, we can live our life with flying colours. True divinity always comes from within and nothing is more powerful than the wonders of willpower and self-confidence. This world is revolving around you not you revolving around it. If YOU are not there, nothing is! Keep yourself, love yourself, own yourself and deserve yourself. Be who you are rather than being someone else. Lady Gaga is here to save the day:
“Do not allow people to dim your shine because they are blinded. Tell them to put on some sunglasses, cuz we were born this way bitch!” ― Lady Gaga
Masterpiece singer Jessie J. writes in her famous song:
I still fall on my face sometimes and
ICan’t color inside the lines ’cause
I’m perfectly incomplete
I’m still working on my masterpiece and I
I wanna hang with the greatest gotta
Way to go, but it’s worth the wait, no
You haven’t seen the best of me
I’m still working on my masterpiece and I
Those who mind, don’t matter
Those who matter, don’t mind
If you don’t catch what I’m throwing then I leave you behind
Don’t need a flash
And I am leaving like that
They talk thatBlah blah that la la, that rah rah sh
Go with the punches, and take the hits
Sometimes I mess up, I eff up, I swing and miss
But it’s okay, I’m cool with this
Fairy words:
You all have a magical jar full of eye-popping glitter inside your soul. Just find the secret place where that magical jar is hidden deep inside your pretty self and invert it on your body and soul. After wearing glitter for a day, I transformed it into magical words of good behaviors, kind heart, love, affection, loyalty, honesty, modesty, sincerity, devotedness, humbleness, charity heart, and humanity. Now it’s your turn to wear glitter for a day and bleed glitter <3
I wish you all a happy and a magical life full of glitters and fireworks. Best wishes and much love to all the people who love and support me with their kind words of appreciation and sunshine. Happy Glittering munchkins! 🙂
There are stars inside you that makes you beautiful with what you have and who you are. Re discover your own stars rather than stealing others’s.
This is survival of the fittest. No matter how good a moment seems to be, we are going to be ungrateful for the things we have got and cry over the things that could have been done. We all have got our own charm and potentials and it is absolutely okay if anybody is better than you in any aspect of life. Maybe he can’t do what you are capable of doing. Discover your charm and reflect the shine and spark!
Let me tell you a story, Samantha was a gorgeous lady who lived a lavish life with her handsome husband. She had everything we can ever dream of. She used to go shopping with her friends and did many world tours throughout her life. One day she bought brand new Bugatti Chiron that worth $ 2.7 million. Later that night she opened up her Instagram account and saw her friend Louis’s story in which he was flashing his Limited Edition Bugatti Veyron by Masonry Vivere worth $3.4 million. Samantha threw her phone on the bed and said in anger “People are never going to let me live peacefully.”
Samantha bought flight tickets for vacations in Maldives Island but when she saw Eleanore’s story about her bachelor’s party in Dubai, this stressed-out Samantha even more. She canceled the plan of visiting the Maldives and booked a flight to Dubai instead. Samantha bought a box of chocolate worth $500 as a gift for Eleanore while Diana brought a lavish bottle of red wine worth $1000. This made everyone’s jaw dropped. Samantha drank the whole night in despair and anger until she had a mouthful of vomit at the end. Samantha became a depression patient and died out of high alcohol dosage one night in her luxury residence at the beach.
This is not about Samantha, we all are Samantha in one way or another. In this article, I am going to discuss some evil traits that destroy our internal beauty and the stars we possess one by one without we even knowing it.
Envy and Jealousy steal your stars:
Envy and jealousy are two major factors that lead us to the destruction of our happiness and satisfaction stars. These emotions lead us to frustration and hypocrisy. Jealousy is when you are fiercely protective and possessive about your own belongings while envy is getting aroused by someone else’s possession. Them both makes us ugly as we care less about our success and happiness while dwelling more about others. We are less ourselves and more others. Your originality ends where envy and jealousy starts. These both connotations are very evil and we should try as much as possible to stay away from them. Envy and jealousy lead us to crime, thoughts of defaming and harming the other person.
Everyone is beautiful in his and her own way. I don’t have to be YOU in order to be perfect. I am supposed to be me because if I were to be you, God would have never created me who I am in the first place.
Many reported cases show that jealousy and envy had lead to more crime and murders in teens. Either it is upon youth, physique, intelligence, relationships, wealth, health, beauty or EX, below are some crime reports that represent the true devastation of human lives out of envy and jealousy.
Envy:
1. In one of the most disturbing murder cases ever, now infamous Gertrude Baniszewski, alongside her teenage children, viciously tortured and murdered 16-year-old Sylvia Liken in 1965. Liken and her sister was placed under Baniszewski’s care by their parents, who worked in a carnival, for several months.
During this time, Baniszewski repeatedly “punished” Sylvia Liken for prostitution and pregnancy, though she was actually a virgin while delivering bizarre sermons about the filthiness of women. She encouraged her children to torture Liken as well, including pushing her down the stairs and making her eat human faeces until Liken finally died of brain haemorrhage and shock.
Baniszewski later claimed she was on drugs the entire time, but it’s been theorized she was jealous of Liken’s beauty and youth, while Baniszewski herself had been marred by many troubled relationships in her past. She was let out on parole after just twenty years in prison. (source: https://www.ranker.com/list/jealous-killers/elle-tharp)
Jealousy:
2. When 60-year-old business woman Sadie Hartley got back together with her old boyfriend Ian Johnston, she had no idea the jealous rivalry she ignited. Sarah Williams, 35, had slept with Johnston while he was single and seemingly became obsessed. The pair continued to communicate through occasional sexting once he was back together with Hartley.
But Williams saw one roadblock, and that roadblock was Hartley. So she enlisted her longtime friend, Katrina “Kitt” Walsh, to plan the perfect murder. The two women spent a year plotting up ways to kill Hartley, which Walsh documented meticulously in her diary. In January 2016, after enacting a “dry run” of the crime with a fake flower delivery, Williams entered Hartley’s home, used a stun gun on her, and stabbed her to death. Despite all their planning, the two were apprehended not long afterwards, and both were found guilty of murder. (source: https://www.ranker.com/list/jealous-killers/elle-tharp)
How well do you remember the first fight with your beloved cousins over your boyfriend or girlfriend? Yes, we all cherish our childhood with our cousins and friends whereas, a single person appears out of nowhere and suddenly steals your heart. You become so possessive about him that even a word against him is a matter of life and death for you. Remember! a true love makes you feel free rather than caging you in the shackles of insecurities, doubts, and confusions. Jealousy is an indicator that either you don’t trust your partner or your partner is not worth to be trusted. In both the cases, you are living a life of dishonesty with yourself and with your partner. It could be well explained by this saying:
The person who is meant to be yours will never give up on you and if that person leaves, he had never been yours 🙂
Live a life of freedom and love wildly! Love is free of bounds and constraints. Love is for everyone and no matter how hard you might try, you can never stop anyone from loving anyone. Love is blind and deaf. Envy is as if you are trying to copy Donald Trump while you yourself look like Rihanna. You are you! Own yourself and your belongings and love yourself more than anyone else could ever do. If you would not make your worth, nobody is gonna recognize your value.
Stop Imitating and comparing yourself:
Everything in this world is not meant to be yours. You will not get everything you wish for. Your dream might be a nightmare for someone else. This is what makes us unique and different from each other.
Back in 2017, I tried to copy a beautiful hairstyle of Zooey Deschanel. I cut down some bangs and thought that I would transform into a beautiful diva 😀 Whereas, I ended up looking like an absolute jerk! So I took this weird picture down below in the honor of my stupid most decision. 😀 It’s good to TRY and LEARN new things but the craving and passion for transforming yourself completely or trying and be someone else are useless as well as painful. I destroyed my hair and still, I can’t style my hair because of them rotten bangs I once dreamed of having. Even if I would have gone to a saloon for this haircut, let me mention you here that my hair texture does not support bangs at all. 🙁
See, everything is not meant to be yours and you have your own style and look. Own that and rock it! If I am Zarbakht, I have to make my own style and identity rather than to start writing my blogs as Angeline Jolie to get more followers 😀
Now, what should I do? Shall I start crying the hell out of me because I can never look like Zoee? Shall I get myself bald just because my hair is useless and I can’t ever have them sexy bangs? No, instead I made my own style, I keep my flicks long now and hair curled up as they naturally are. And I guess people like them the way they are because at times people ask me “how do you manage to curl your hair every morning?” Ha-ha, I think I look much better this way.
Now I am going to show you some people who tried to transform themselves into famous celebrities through plastic surgeries and laser treatments. They ended up ruining their pretty faces even after going through pain and trouble.
I feel pity for her, just look at her before and after transformation. She was such a cutie but she didn’t own her identity and lost her originality as well.
Look at this diva, Shauna Sand is yet another plastic surgery obsessed quasi-celebrity who is famous for all the wrong reasons. She transformed herself into some celebrity and ended up looking like this. To be honest, I envy how beautiful she used to be before. Just Kidding! But she was really very pretty before. Wasn’t she?
There are many more such cases in which people ruined their faces and lost their originality in order to look like some other person. See, we might not like ourselves the way we are, but somewhere, someone is also copying us because we can’t often see the real stars we have inside us that others can clearly see. Just find your own beauty and enhance it. Rather than losing your identity. This is mere envy and one should keep away from it. You are beautiful just the way you are 🙂
Just because you’re not thin does not mean you’re ugly. You are beautiful because of the light you carry inside you. You are beautiful because you say you are, and you hold yourself that way.
-Mary Lambert
Back in 2017, when I was very vigorous with changing my looks, Auburn hair dye was very trending then. I bought a pack for me and dyed my hair Auburn. Thinking that this colour is going to suit me a lot and my skin tone will go exactly with it, I forgot to bleach my already jet black hair. Well, when I washed my hair, my mother and sister criticized me a lot. They said that I am giving a straight outta gutter look and also, you look like a filthy beggar who had never washed his hair since forever. This was terrible! 😀 But I coped up with all the harsh comments and was very confident about that horrible look of mine. 😀 See, I had no choice than to accept my fault and learn from it. So I embraced that very look as my punishment. And trust me, it doesn’t make any difference. It doesn’t make any difference either my hair was black or brown. People didn’t notice at all because it was just a minor brown shade that my black hair picked up from that loaded bag of hair dye. I was happy because I knew that this color is going to fade away eventually so it’s not a biggie. But think about those girls who changed their looks permanently. It is true that with envy comes greater problems.
Stop hunting for more and more and own your stars:
We see a lot of fresh faces entering our media and with an interval of time, we see a sudden maturity on their once a cute face. Maturity is good if developed with time. These actresses turn themselves into mature ladies and when they actually get mature, they start undergoing surgeries to look younger and fresh. This is just like a hunt. You start with fish and a time comes when you aren’t satisfied with the number of lions you hunt every day.
There is no room for a complainer in a universe of law, and worry is soul-suicide. By your very attitude of mind you are strengthening the chains which bind you, and are drawing about you the darkness by which you are enveloped, Alter your outlook upon life, and your outward life will alter.
Build yourself up in the faith and knowledge, and make yourself worthy of better surroundings and wider opportunities. Be sure, first of all, that you are making the best of what you have.
Do not delude yourself into supposing that you can step into greater advantages whilst overlooking smaller ones, for if you could, the advantage would be impermanent and you would quickly fall back again in order to learn the lesson which you had neglected.
-James Allen
James Allen, a British philosophical writer explained it beautifully that you cannot ask for more and more until and unless you excel and master in what you already have and what you already possess. Love yourself and own your possessions, only then, nature will grant you this right to have more and better. If we aren’t happy with what we are today, trust me tomorrow can never earn us satisfaction and content because people who are greedy for more have no tomorrow and no best. Be thankful for what you have and love yourself whilst struggling for the betterment of your future. History had witnessed many Kings and Queens who tried to get more while they already had more than enough, they always ended up with bloodshed and brutality.
As the child at school must master one standard before passing onto the next, so, before you can have that greater good which you so desire, must you faithfully employ that which you already possess.
The parable of the talents is a beautiful story illustrative of this truth, for does it not plainly show that if we misuse, neglect, or degrade that which we possess, be it ever so mean and insignificant, even that little will be taken from us, for, by our conduct we show that we are unworthy of it.
Perhaps you are living in a small cottage, and are surrounded by unhealthy and vicious influences.
You desire a larger and more sanitary residence. Then you must fit yourself for such a residence by first of all making your cottage as far as possible a little paradise.
Keep it spotlessly clean. Make it look as pretty and sweet as your limited means will allow. Cook your plain food with all care, and arrange your humble table as tastefully as you possibly can.
If you cannot afford a carpet, let your rooms be carpeted with smiles and welcomes, fastened down with the nails of kind words driven in with the hammer of patience. Such a carpet will not fade in the sun, and constant use will never wear it away.
By so ennobling your present surroundings you will rise above them, and above the need of them, and at the right time you will pass on into the better house and surroundings which have all along been waiting for you, and which you have fitted yourself to occupy.
Perhaps you desire more time for thought and effort, and feel that your hours of labor are too hard and long. Then see to it that you are utilizing to the fullest possible extent what little spare time you have.
It is useless to desire more time, if you are already wasting what little you have; for you would only grow more indolent and indifferent.
-James Allen
Let’s find the stars inside us:
You know there are stars inside you and every time you look at yourself and smile with content and thankfulness that you have a sound face, healthy body and a brilliant mind, you give birth to a shining star inside your soul. When you compliment random people on the way to school about how fresh they look and how beautiful they are, another star is born with flying colors. Many children are born with disabilities or mental disorders. My own brother died a day after his birth when doctors claimed that if he somehow manages to survive, he will be a special child. He might be mentally retarded or deaf. My brother died right after a day because he wasn’t able to make it into this world. Doctors also warned my mother that she might not be able to have a normal baby ever again. My mother was devastated but she never gave up. Our willpower and optimism beat the weak obstinacies of life. My mother gave birth to me and later after, she had four more beautiful daughters. We have a perfect family and all the credit goes to my mother. She could have gone into the depression upon this news of not having a normal baby again. She could have given up on trying due to this fear of losing another beautiful baby. It wasn’t easy for her but she did it! Just because she never gave up, she was able to raise us well and good. We never had the slightest hint of any dismay or depression from her side which resulted in a happy family we have today. If we imagine a vice-versa situation, we would be having a depressed mother who fights on and off with our dad thus leading into a terrible atmosphere of our home. Our decisions not only affect ourselves but also the ones we love. We all are beautiful with shining stars of good moral values, uniqueness, happiness, strength and originality within us. Don’t let those sparkling stars fade away into the dark holes of envy, jealousy, imitation, comparisons, torturing yourself with useless predictions, self-shaming, and pessimism. Own yourself and let those stars reflect the inner light of yourself. Remember yourself as a kid; your purity and innocence.
We have long forgotten the stars inside us into the dusty racks of our artificial beliefs and sky-high set of expectations, perfectionism, and fierce obsessions. Stop with what you are trying to be and find who you are. Rediscover the magic you possess and let the cauldron of your true-self, your original identity and self-esteem bubble and bubble and bubble!
Here, I found a relatable song as well. Happy reading sugar cakes and don’t forget to love yourself. You are beautiful just the way you are. Just keep this in mind, there are stars inside us. Don’t waste your divinity!
Hello, pink frosting sugar cakes and sparkling glitter cupcakes!
I hope you guys are enjoying a bright day and magical nights as per your time zone. Well, I am just writing this post under this fine cool moonlight that is peeping into my room through the giant window I have right next to me. The weather is amazing and hopefully, that it might rain tonight 🙂
Well, coming towards the topic, I was given a yummy task by one of the most beautiful and talented sugar cake bloggers in my cosy nook whom I love to read. I am so proud to have her with me and you guys should follow her too. Thank you so much sunbae for nominating me for this fun challenge! Shot out to the one and only:
So, the task is that I have to write anything about the tag topic that The Rendezvous Club gave me. The topic that I got today is “Restart”. I have to post an article, picture or a poetry about the topic “restart” and at the end, I will nominate any three sugar cakes of mine to write about the topic tag I will give them. Let the fun begin!
I couldn’t sleep the whole last night because I had to write that article of mine Prostitution is a sin but are these prostitutes the real sinners? When I was done with it, the clock was already striking 6 in the morning. I shut down the laptop and lied down on my couch. While curling in the bed, I suddenly got this feeling of sending a hope-message to my creampie friends. So I started typing a morning text to some girls and boys in my contact list who are suffering from minor to chronic depression and thus, being a better human being now, I try to make them feel happy and important on and off by sending them random text messages and motivational images. We are having our summer vacations so hugs and cuddles of comfort are not a choice anymore. Well, if the feelings are pure and intentions are good, text messages are not a bad option as well.
The morning hope-message.
So, this is what I want to say to each and every sugar cake I have in my vicinity that take care of yourself and its never too late to start. No matter how far you have gone, don’t forget to Restart!

MY NOMINEES:
My talented nominees for this creative challenge are:
The brothel owner said if I don’t work, she’ll kill me and if I don’t do the business, she’ll sell me. They beat me with sticks. If I refused, they would’nt give me any food.
-Guddi (A young prostitute at Indian brothel)
Biggest Brothel in India:
India is ranked to be the number 1 country that is dangerous for women. Rape of women and beheading them is very common. It is not that India has some specific drawback or people over there are rotten. We all have such people, who are the true definition of “terrorists” in our own society and states. Maybe in a small amount than that in India, but we do have. This is a time to support each other against this rather than playing that same rotten blame game that is being played by nations since forever. If India is ranked #1 for rape and street crime, we will be laughing at them making fun of their despair. We should be shameful for mocking at the helplessness and despair of any state or nation because our country might be the next one. Brothels that are being run by people in different areas are a place of horror, despair and hopelessness. Just watch the video below and think for a moment that will any girl ever want a life like this for her? Will any girl ever opt for this life of pain and merciless brutality? Never!
“Prostitution is not a job. The inside of a woman’s body is not a workplace”
Julie Bindel
We have such a horrendous attitude towards humanity that many people out there die silently just because they can’t face us due to the artificial living standards and dogma of higher expectations we have built in every society as per our beliefs and traditions. We are just shrinking the diameter of this “superficial expectation circle” around ourselves day by day due to which others are literally choking not being able to live up to those expectations and artificial beliefs. We all are constructing this boundary of higher values and social code of conduct day by day making it almost impossible for weaker members of our society including prostitutes to live and survive. They cannot live like us because we will anyhow kill their soul by addressing them as a worthless piece of barren land that is of no use to us anymore, women will be hesitant to give them jobs due to security issues, mothers will not trust them due to their dirty past. This is how we are disdaining the rights of many help seekers out there who need us. We keep opening schools for transgenders, disable and special people every day. What is the real error of prostitutes? Just because someone raped them and threw them into this dirty slum brothel? Just because a baby girl was born into the brothel from a slave prostitute and a filthy client who just fulfilled his fantasy and went away? Just because those pretty hopeless girls were trafficked and brought to this hell? Is that so?
“Where I used to live we were extremely poor. So I asked my neighbour to help me find work. She said her daughter earned $5 a week as a maid in Mumbai. That sounded a lot to us. So I said okay I’ll go. I was 11 years old then, I was really little. I was taken to the 14th lane in Kamathipura. They told me I’m here to have sex with men. I refused, and asked to be put on the train home but they beat me severely and the woman they left me with held my hands and her daughter held my legs down and the customer forced himself down on me. For three months I was in hospital.” -Guddi (Indian Prostitute)
There is a booming sex trade of virgins as they decrease the risk of sexually transmitted diseases. Virgin children are brought to the brothel and caged into the dark boxes told one of the prostitute rescuers. Pretty little girls are brought to such a dystopia for destroying their future and hopes. This is literally the end of humanity.
The biggest brothel in Bangladesh:
My neighbour kidnapped me. He sold me for $415. I can’t leave until that dept has been paid. In the first days, I truly suffered. Everything hurt. But slowly, I have learnt to deal with it, physically and mentally.
-Eithee (Young prostitute at Bengali Brothel)
I am a prisoner who is being watched. They are afraid I might run away and they’d lose money. -Eithee (Young prostitute at Bengali Brothel)
People always say, “your sister’s working streets.” And they insult us. If she wanted to do something else, they’d always remind her that she used to be a prostitute. -brother of Khushi
If one day I leave here and go back into real society, if anyone knows I am from here they will say I am not a good person. -Khushi (Prostitute)
Do you believe in true love? -Yes, I do this job out of love, for my siblings and my mother. I’d like to have children, but that is not an option here. They’d immediately be branded. But if I was to live outside and was married, that would be good. If you’re in a relationship here, men beat the women and take their money. -Khushi (Prostitute)
I don’t care if it kills me, as long as I can earn a living. Allah called them home. When He calls, I will go as well. -Kaalee (Prostitute at a bengali brothel)
When I work the streets and the children are there, the clients leave. The children ask questions. They know I am doing this for them. So they’ll have food. I always tell them I’ll stop as soon as possible. Bathakaaya (Bengali Prostitute)
My kids are born on the streets. I was desperate and couldn’t raise them. I wanted them to learn, to eat and to have a good life. I feel guilty. It’s hard. I’ve asked Allah to call me home. I took a saari. I attached it to the fan and committed suicide. The little boy came in and screamed mummy! mummy! He was pulling on the fan. Another boy came in and they cut down the sari and I fell on the bed. -Shupee (Former Prostitute at Bangladesh Brothel)

Selling sex in the Dominican Republic:
Prostitution is most common among teens due to child abuse and maltreatment from their families. Families beat them up and throw them out of their life. Many girls have nowhere to go so they chose prostitution as a medium to earn money and support their kids. Men just come and leave, they have no idea that somewhere, a poor lady labelled as a filthy prostitute is actually the mother of his own son or daughter.
I go to ask for forgiveness because I commit a lot of sins. The job I do is a really big sin. I feel ashamed and I’m afraid of God. Prostitution, it’s a sin. But one day this will end. -Frandi James (Prostitute at Dominican Republic)
I say I am strong because of all I’ve put up with. My grandma treated me very badly. She hit me a lot. My mother never visited nor did my father. I’d see her maybe once a year. She hit us a lot everyday. -Frandi James (Prostitute at Dominican Republic)
I had to wait for clients to send me money to get register for school. Thank God I am studying now. And when I finish, I want to work in a call centre. So I can be an example to my son. So he doesn’t see me as I am now. -Frandi James (Prostitute at Dominican Republic)
In the end, I would just like to ask a simple question from every mother, father, brother, sister, man, woman and husband to look at their pretty little daughter playing around them right now. How her chubby cheeks are wet with the mango juice and her tiny clothes soaked in water that she threw on her accidentally. How her tiny feet move to and fro in excitement and joy whenever she looks at you. Can you ever imagine her to be under the custody of some filthy men with a horrendous mind aka so-called clients? Can you ever think of your baby girl crying out of pain for something she never even thought about? Just imagine your mothers, sisters, wives and loved ones to be working in these filthy and rotten brothels. Just think! Think before you go to the same brothels or maybe the lavish ones for fulfilling your 30-minutes-lust. These prostitutes are not working because they find it good for them. The never chose this fate for them. They were brought to the brothels forcefully. Harshness and brutality have reached to their limits when we look at the brothel videos on youtube, Dailymotion, Vimeo and where not. They are also someone’s daughters who are slaughtering their souls while sacrificing their bodies for drivers, mechanics, sweepers, shopkeepers, drunkards, drug addicts, taxi drivers, dung cleaners, and lower classmen. They would have also dreamed of prince charming and magical pegasus but all they got is a cruel brothel owner and dirty clients who even don’t look like human beings. They are worst than animals.
The basic purpose of this post is to extend your hands towards these deserving women and give them a ray of hope that they can also survive in this superficial society rather than rejecting and degrade them.Don’t forget that it is people like you and me, who are promoting this business come violence. We all need to put a stop to it before these strong roots of child trafficking and abuse might someday snatch away our precious gems from us. Where would we find them? Of those horrible dark virgin trap boxes, which dark box will your daughter be in? How many locks will you get opened up by those brothel owners? In which brothel will you go then to find your own baby girl? Just think and spread awareness!
Hello sugar cakes how are you all doing? I hope you are all having a lovely day or magical nights 🙂 I am so sorry but I have no idea either there is a day at your place or the night as I usually write at the night time as per the time zone of majority of the crew I am honored to have in my cozy nook.
So, today is the third day of the lyrical challenge. And the song that I chose for today is Wait by Maroon 5. It is an amazing song and it hooks e up for like the whole time from the moment I turn it on till the time it ends. I hope you guys will like this song as much as I do 🙂
Wait
Maroon 5
Dirty looks from your mother
Never seen you in a dress that color, no
It’s a special occasion
Not invited but I’m glad I made it
Oh, let me apologize
I’ll make up, make up, make up, make up for all those times
Your love, I don’t wanna lose
I’m beggin’, beggin’, beginn’, beggin’, I’m begging you
Wait, can you turn around, can you turn around?
Just wait, can we work this out, can we work this out?
Just wait, can you come here please? ‘Cause I want to be with you
Wait, can you turn around, can you turn around?
Just wait, can we work this out, can we work this out?
Just wait, can you come here please? ‘Cause I want to be with you
Can we talk for a moment?
Got these feelings that I’m tired of holding on
Wasn’t tryin’ to get wasted
I needed more than three or four to say this
Oh, let me apologize (yea)
I’ll make up, make up, make up, make up for all those times (all those times)
Your love, I don’t wanna lose
I’m beggin’, beggin’, beggin’, beggin’, I’m begging you
Wait, can you turn around, can you turn around?
Just wait, can we work this out, can we work this out?
Just wait, can you come here please? ‘Cause I want to be with you
Wait, can you turn around, can you turn around?
Just wait, can we work this out, can we work this out?
Just wait, can you come here please? ‘Cause I want to be with you
You say I’m just another bad guy
You say I’ve done a lot of things I can’t undo
Before you tell me for the last time
I’m beggin’, beggin’, beggin’, beggin’ you
Wait, can you turn around, can you turn around?
Just wait, can we work this out, can we work this out?
Just wait, can you come here please? ‘Cause I want to be with you
Wait, can you turn around, can you turn around?
Just wait, can we work this out, can we work this out?
Just wait, can you come here please? ‘Cause I want to be with you

Heart Attack Lyrics
Enrique Iglesias
Loving you was easy
Thought you’d never leave me
Yeah, yeahWrapped around my finger
See ya when I see ya
Yeah, yeahNow I’m hearing around
That you been running around
I didn’t think I’d miss you
Now I’m feeling like a fool
Ooh Ooh
[Chorus:]
It hit me like a heart attack
When you finally left me girl
I thought I’d never want you back
But I don’t wanna live in a world without you
I don’t wanna live in a world without you
I don’t wanna live in a world without you
Never really noticed
All the little things you did, you did
Never bought you roses
Always was around my friends, my friends
And now I’m hearing around
That you been running around
I didn’t think I’d miss you
Now I’m feeling like a fool
Ooh Ooh
[Chorus:]
Never should have let you slip away
Living in a world that’s turned to grey
Little did I know it hurt so bad
Ooh, ooh
Cause it hit me like a heart attack
When you finally left me girl
I thought I’d never want you back
But I don’t wanna live in a world without you
I don’t wanna live in a world without you
I don’t wanna live in a world without you
No oh
I don’t wanna live in a world without you
No oh
I don’t wanna live in a world without you
Now I’m hearing around
That you been running around
I didn’t think I’d miss you
Now I’m feeling like a fool
Ooh Ooh
I hope yall will enjoy this song as much as I do 🙂

“Music, at its essence, is what gives us memories. And the longer a song has existed in our lives, the more memories we have of it.”
-Stevie Wonder
The song that I am going to share today is one of my top favourites right now. I am so obsessed with this song that my day starts with it and I see the whole night dancing and swirling on the rhythm of this masterpiece by Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line named as “Meant to be”. It is a beautiful song with deep lyrics. I hope you guys would love it as much as I do <3
Baby, lay on back and relax, kick your pretty feet up on my dash No need to go nowhere fast, let’s enjoy right here where we at
Who knows where this road is supposed to lead We got nothing but time As long as you’re right here next to me, everything’s gonna be alright
If it’s meant to be, it’ll be, it’ll be Baby, just let it be If it’s meant to be, it’ll be, it’ll be Baby, just let it be So, won’t you ride with me, ride with me? See where this thing goes If it’s meant to be, it’ll be, it’ll be Baby, if it’s meant to be
I don’t mean to be so uptight, but my heart’s been hurt a couple times By a couple guys that didn’t treat me right I ain’t gon’ lie, ain’t gonna lie ‘Cause I’m tired of the fake love, show me what you’re made of Boy, make me believe But hold up, girl, don’t you know you’re beautiful? And it’s easy to see
If it’s meant to be, it’ll be, it’ll be Baby, just let it be If it’s meant to be, it’ll be, it’ll be Baby, just let it be So, won’t you ride with me, ride with me? See where this thing goes If it’s meant to be, it’ll be, it’ll be Baby, if it’s meant to be
So, c’mon ride with me, ride with me See where this thing goes So, c’mon ride with me, ride with me Baby, if it’s meant to be
Maybe we do Maybe we don’t Maybe we will Maybe we won’t
But if it’s meant to be, it’ll be, it’ll be Baby, just let it be If it’s meant to be, it’ll be, it’ll be (c’mon) Baby, just let it be (let’s go) So, won’t you ride with me, ride with me? See where this thing goes If it’s meant to be, it’ll be, it’ll be Baby, if it’s meant to be
If it’s meant to be, it’ll be, it’ll be Baby, if it’s meant to be If it’s meant to be, it’ll be, it’ll be Baby, if it’s meant to be
My Nominees:
Well, here are some of the talented bloggers in my cosy nook whom I want to participate in this challenge:
Pop the handsfree in your tiny ears and let’s begin this journey of inner peace!
I was driving rashly at about 7000 km/h when suddenly my truck of depression crashed into the lorry of happiness. I flew out of the windscreen and flew high in the air because of the jerk. The collision resulted into a magical sight. I was suspended into the air for fine 5 minutes, apparently breathing my last. All the broken shards and pieces suspended into the air like twinkling stars scattered around me. I touched one with my fingertip and there I went straight down to the road. I was saved due to the crash landing on one of the finest cushions that the happiness lorry was loaded with.
This is depression! It is no more than a situation you have in your mind. It is no less than this depression truck that is loaded with bundles of struggling emotions, strangled thoughts and packagings of confusions and distress driven by you. You are the only one who is creating this scenario and only you can make a better picture. We are all overspeeding with our depression loaders and we never know when we might crash into this same happiness truck. Well, we can not wait for such a fantasy to happen to us, so let’s move toward some practical ideas that might help us in improving our melancholic little brains 🙂
Having depression is as natural as anybody having a habit of eating!
Funny isn’t it? But actually, it is not. People never make this choice to be depressed. It is as if you got addicted to nail biting and can’t resist it anymore. So you try different methods to avoid it. Don’t worry soft hearted creampies, we are up with you on this voyage to beat depression. Remember! It is difficult to get rid of depression completely but you can increase the amount of sunshine in your life by stepping out of that tiny room of darkness you reside in. Here are some of the well-researched tips that you can definitely give a try in order to beat the depression! Let’s depress the depression 😀
1. Go for a prescribed anti-depressant:
“Depression is the single largest contributor to global disability that we have – a massive challenge for humankind,” said John Geddes, professor of epidemiological psychiatry at Oxford University. It affects around 350 million people worldwide and instances rose almost 20% from 2005-2015.
Millions of more people around the world should be prescribed pills or offered talking therapies, which work equally well for moderate to severe depression, say the doctors, noting that just one in six people receive proper treatment in the rich world – and one in 27 in the developing world.
“Antidepressants are an effective tool for depression. Untreated depression is a huge problem because of the burden to society,” said Andrea Cipriani of the NIHR Oxford Health Biomedical Research Centre, who led the study.
In a commentary in the journal, Sagar Parikh from the University of Michigan in the USA and Sidney Kennedy from the University of Toronto in Canada pointed out that three drugs scored best for efficacy and tolerability: agomelatine, escitalopram, and vortioxetine. Three others scored particularly poorly: fluvoxamine, reboxetine, and trazodone. The first three “might be considered the first choice” by doctors, they write, although the two most effective drugs – amitriptyline and venlafaxine – might still be the first choice for severe depression.
2. Switch to natural anti-depressants:
It’s estimated that 1 in 10 adults now takes a prescription antidepressant. But these antidepressants can have rather unacceptable side effects and work for less than half of those who take them. Such a situation needs an urgent alternate. Before starting to take the anti-depressants, give these natural antidepressants a try as research shows that they work as well or even better than the usual drugs prescribed for depression — with fewer side effects.
1. Curcumin:
Curcumin, the primary active ingredient of the Indian spice turmeric, is best-known in natural medicine circles for its anti-inflammatory effects. But researchers discovered how curcumin supplements can also act as effective an effective herbal antidepressant. The study involved 60 patients with the major depressive disorder who were randomly divided into three groups: one group received curcumin only in the form of 500 mg standardized curcumin extract twice daily, another group received the standard daily dose of 20 mg fluoxetine, and the third group received a combination of the two treatments.
The severity of depression was assessed before and after the six-week treatment using a well-researched test for depression known as the Hamilton Rating Scale. The HAM-D, as it’s called, evaluates mood, feelings of guilt, suicidal ideation, insomnia, agitation or motor retardation (slowed movements), anxiety, weight loss and other common depression symptoms.
Overall, the average change in the HAM-D scores was similar for curcumin and fluoxetine. In other words, as a natural antidepressant, curcumin worked as well as the prescription drug fluoxetine in terms of improvements in depression severity.
Curcumin could be taken as it is, with milk, in your regular meals or in the form of ayurvedic and homoeopathic medications that are more natural and healthier than the allopathic medicines.
Extracts made from the popular Middle Eastern spice saffron have also recently been shown to be effective natural antidepressants in several small clinical trials. The petals and the stigmas of the Crocus sativus plant contain crocin and safranal, believed to be saffron’s active components and natural antidepressants.
One double-blind, randomized, controlled trial compared the effects of saffron with fluoxetine (generic form of Prozac) in 40 people with major depression. For eight weeks, half the participants took a supplement containing petal of Crocus sativus (15 mg morning and evening) and the other half took fluoxetine (10 mg morning and evening). Depression symptoms and severity were rated using the Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression.
At the end of the study, both the saffron and fluoxetine treatments resulted in significant improvements in depression symptoms and severity, with no difference in the amount of improvement between the two groups. At least two previous studies also found that both the stigmas and petals of saffron (30 mg per day) act as natural antidepressants with effectiveness equal to generic Prozac.
Take either of these natural antidepressants for at least six to eight weeks before making any decisions about their effectiveness. And if you continue to struggle with depression, remember that all depression medications, whether synthetic pharmaceuticals or the best natural antidepressant, work best in conjunction with diet and lifestyle changes, treatment for nutritional deficiencies, and other natural therapies.
3. Lively hobbies for combating existential thoughts:
A depressed soul, at the time of depression, gets this continuous thought of uselessness. Existential questions are flooded inside its mind as streams of tears flow down the florid cheeks. Such thoughts can only be defeated by sticking to its counter. By proving yourself to be capable of doing many good things will depress the depression ultimately.
Hobbies like book reading and hanging out with friends are not going to help you in any way. They will only increase the stress and melancholy level of yours. You have to search for something that appeals to you in the phase of depression. For this, you have to work out a little by investigating your attitude and desires during your depressed state. Observe what appeals to you and what offends you meanwhile. Write all the dos and not to dos on a notebook and always keep it with you. Lively hobbies include gardening, cooking, painting, colouring and helping others, feeding pets and animals, teaching kids and telling stories are the best hobbies to stick to during the depression phase as they all have a healthy and useful output.
I am sowing fresh seeds of blackberry in the soil with my bare hands. This tree will grow into a big shady tree with a cool shelter. Hundreds and thousands of people a day will sit under this shade in hot summer noons when there will be no other place to stand by or take a nap. Would I still get this thought of uselessness?
Remember! Your mind is depressed, it is confused not retarded.
4. Self-help books as a precaution:
Self-help books are just the precautions that you have to take beforehand. Read good self-help books when you are in an anti-depressed phase and note down the important points that you feel like might be helping you in your depression phase.
Always go for good self-help books as every writer has his own writing style and explanations. Some are welcoming while others are a bit critical and straightforward in nature. Always have a sneaky-peak of the synopsis before purchasing it.
I like Dale Carnegie, Cleo Wade, James Allen and Mark Manson personally. Both Carnegie and Manson are the direct counter of each other. Dale Carnegie has soft stylistics features while Mark Manson is a straightforward and a rational writer. Cleo wade writes beautiful poetic wisdom in her book Heart Talk while James Allen gives philosophical solutions for living a better life in his book
5. Get a good reason to cry:
I spent a beautiful night with my boyfriend in the fairy meadows and for the time being, I felt as if everything is going perfect in my life, life is beautiful and this delight is eternal. A month later, I found out that I was already late. This made me and my boyfriend curious that maybe I got pregnant accidentally. I watched a lot of videos about early symptoms of pregnancy and methods of abortion. While I was looking for the videos, I was so lost in the ocean of my pessimism that somehow a video of childbirth opened up and I was watching it unintentionally. I was so depressed and the things around me were like shattering into million shards of glass while each fragment was piercing me and entering into my body with excessive blood loss and pain. I was just staring at the screen of my mobile phone when the scenario of that baby coming out of his mother’s womb captured my mind. It was horrific! Suddenly that baby cried for the first time and with him, I cried too! Tears were streaming down my cheeks and to my surprise they were the tears of joy. It was beautiful! I never ever felt that way before. It was something special. That day I realized that there are a good face and a bad face of every picture. As you cry in sadness, so can the good things make you cry harder and trust me crying for the good is the best favour you can do to you. It offers you binaries. And binaries are always beautiful when in harmony 🙂
During the depression phase, rather than watching depressed videos showing pain and sorrow, watch videos like one of your parent’s marriage or of random people’s, romance movies, childbirth videos, victorious moments of your favourite football player or random award ceremonies. It will fulfil your urge to cry while sending a secret signal to your brain that it is beautiful to cry for good reasons. This will be very helpful!
6. Dance:
Meditation is a good shot when it comes to treating your inner self with pease and prosperity. But a person who is burning inside already can get no fruit from meditation because he is not calm and cannot be in any way until he doesn’t come out of depression phase. Meditation is a good idea in your good mood when you are calm and peaceful. But, in the depression phase, dance is the best thing you can ever do.
A depressed person frequently gets this thought of hurting himself and doing self-harm. Force yourself to dance and dance until you feel like you are punishing yourself until you don’t feel like being a victim of dancing 😀 Turn on the music loud, jump, push, get high, get low, run, breathe and shoot for the stars! Dance as your body allows you to move, twist, and break meanwhile speaking out its language of aggression. Don’t stop until there is a smile on your face.
“While I dance I can not judge, I can not hate, I can not separate myself from life. I can only be joyful and whole. This is why I dance.”
– Hans Bos
7. Anti-depressant lifestyle:
Remember! However hard you try to beat this depression, you cannot succeed if you are not willing to do it. Willpower and trying to be as normal as you can is the main thing while other efforts are the subdomains. A healthy lifestyle is one of the essentials to live a better life. Now, if we talk about antidepressant lifestyle, keep a few points in mind that research says are required to be adopted in order to escape from depression at the lowest level.
Meditate
Use virgin olive oil or coconut oil in place of canola oil
Morning walk
20 minutes workout or cardio in the morning
Healthy and a proper breakfast (even if you don’t feel like having it)
Head and body massage
Proper rest is very important (in case you suffer from insomnia, take proper rest from work)
Eat more veggies
Drink plenty of water
Smile, communicate and travel
8. Good Music:
Music is not only the food for the soul but it is also being used to combat depression. Research has shown that patients who listen to healing music and tunes are more likely to combat and reduce the depression intensity. Whenever you feel like depression is knocking at your door, open up your healing music playlist and turn the volume up.
Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.
-Plato
Modern music therapy originated in the 1940s after World War II. Thousands of soldiers with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) were institutionalized, unable to function in society. Community musicians began to visit veteran hospitals to play for those suffering from physical and emotional trauma. Nurses and doctors noted the positive physical and emotional response—how the hymns and melodies reached patients in ways that traditional therapies were unable to — and began to hire musicians for the hospitals.
Rave nights and concerts are the best ideas when it comes to good music. Fall in love and dance the night away. Also, there are many healing kinds of music available on youtube.
9. Bringing plants and pot flowers:
Like we bring gifts for children, presents for loved ones, similarly, we should never forget to give flowers to people suffering from depression. The best thing to combat depression is Nature. Fresh flowers and soothing green plants defeat depression with flying colours. Depressed souls should always have them nice and exotic flowers that they like, in their bedroom and lounges, balconies and toilets. Fresh flowers should be put in each flower pot every morning and soothing indoor plants must be watered every morning as per their requirement.
Research proves that many plants and flowers decrease stress levels based on their calming and cleansing effects. Not only do they look great and bring vitality and life to your living spaces, but they can have fantastic relaxing and purifying benefits – which in turn can promote a healthy sleeping pattern.
With stress and anxiety causing half of all insomnia issues, it’s a good idea to fill your home and bedroom with a variety of plants that have a calming effect. After all, studies clearly show that spending time in nature reduces stress levels, so why not simply bring nature indoors?
The good news is there are a variety of plants that can purify the air while you sleep – in fact NASA did a whole study on it! Some of these cleansing plants are:
Jasmine
Lavender
Snake Plant (Mother-in-Law’s Tongue)
Aloe Vera
Gardenia
Spider Plant
Valerian
English Ivy
10. Find the right person and call:
Remember! You should always have that one number in fast dials list for quick depression retreat. You have no idea how worse your depression might get. So, whenever you feel like having a severe panic attack, just call that person and say it all. Tell him or her how you feel and how much dumb you have been in the past. Cry! Ask for help and say whatever comes to your mind.
Crying and sharing your fears and sadness is always the best thing to do because it is an instant cure for stress and depression. If you inflate a balloon more than its capacity, it will rupture. But if you make a tiny hole in the other side of the balloon, it will not burst and the pressure will never build. Same is the case with a human mind.
11. Surroundings and environment:
An environment is the soul of life. From your birth to your death, everything is based upon our surroundings. With your birth, the ambience changes into blooming colours, sparkling toys, exotic dresses, colourful walls and merry music. While, when you die, the environment is turned into dull and white. That soft twinkling music changes into sobs and cries with no hint of gaiety anymore.
Our surrounding affects directly on our mood and soul. It is a hidden factor that keeps on affecting us without us even knowing. The setting of our room, wallpaper designs, the colour scheme of the walls, furniture designs and the dress colour that we wear are the prime factors that affect our mood and stress levels. Surroundings are made up of different colours. Let’s see what colour therapy says about colours we should surround ourselves with for cleansing effect and positive energies.
The different colours used to evoke positive emotional responses generally include orange, blue, indigo, and violet. Others colours like red or yellow also trigger emotions, but those tend to be higher energy feelings and so are not used therapeutically very often.
Orange – Symbolizing the sun, the colour orange is said to treat depression by increasing alertness and concentration, and by decreasing feelings of dread.
Blue – The most common colour used in colour therapy, blue is used to reduce tension throughout the body, helping with both anxiety and depression. It may also benefit a regular sleep cycle.
Indigo – The calming effect of indigo makes it a good choice for people with depression or anxiety.
Violet – Like indigo, violet relaxes the mind and body. Proponents of colour therapy claim that it can relax muscles and encourage meditation.
Red- Promotes energy, strength, motivation, confidence, will-power, courage, initiative, focus on attention to detail. It is good for depression, negativity, shyness (avoid in anger, irritability)
Gold- Promotes enthusiasm, balancing thoughts and feelings, wisdom. It is good for depression (especially during menopause), stress, anxiety.
Green- Promotes balance, harmony, personal development, self-acceptance, compassion for self and others, renewal. It is good for stress, anxiety, self-pity, confusion.
Turquoise- Promotes calm, cleansing, healing, personal relationships, sharing, friendship, resilience. It is good for stress, anxiety and anger.
Magenta- Promotes letting go of the past or anxiety-provoking thoughts, moving on, spiritual understanding. It is good for reducing aggression.
Pink- Promotes calm, clarity of thought, affection, compassion, nurturing, kindness and resolving power. It is good for difficulties in relationships, insomnia, anger, aggression, over-sensitivity

A motivational quote or tip a day keeps the depression away 🙂
“A pearl is a beautiful thing that is produced by an injured life. It is the tear [that results] from the injury of the oyster. The treasure of our being in this world is also produced by an injured life. If we had not been wounded, if we had not been injured, then we will not produce the pearl.”
-Stephan Hoeller
Life is not easy sugar cakes but we have to make it till the end. We must act like the conquerer rather than being a victim of the cruelties of life. Keep your chins high and breathe <3
