Did you know judging others have a huge scope today?
Hello, the world of rainbow hearts and sparkling souls!

I woke up to this beautiful story that one of my friends had uploaded earlier this morning. The story illustrated a meme that showed two judges, judging a painting with a straight line against the plain canvas. The man exclaimed that this painting was useless and the artist would have taken less than a minute to draw it. Meanwhile, there was a snail on the floor with the paintbrush, crying this baby tear of shame. Okay, I won’t lie, I think no meme touched me harder than this one. I felt it! I really did.
This is a very common story nowadays, while less than half of the world is making an effort to change the world, by building something creative, almost the whole world is waiting for judgemental prey. Daily, I see people judging others for the same habits, for the same flaws, for the same mistakes that they, themselves have. This habit is becoming a worldwide dilemma; a plague that will eat us all, alive!
“Sinners judging sinners, for sinning differently.”
There have been many times, where I said something about somebody, and literally a moment after, I realized that who am I to judge that person when I, myself am no different. See, I believe that one of the major reasons behind judging the efforts of other people is that we think highly of ourselves. We cannot see anyone rising up, we cannot tolerate anybody else excelling. We have become self-centered and selfish to an extent where we have cut down all the connections of humanity when it comes to the workplace.
I might be running a charity to support a million households and writing motivational letters to thousands of people daily to get them out of depression. However, if tomorrow, the same people stand up in front of me, I would instantly recognize them as my rivals. I won’t be their savior, guardian, and their fairy godmother any more, but their rival.
Sitting in the lounge of my department, I saw many girls chattering vibrantly around me, sitting in groups or all alone. Hugging, and kissing the hands of each other, they exchanged the vows of eternal friendship. To the world, they might be an embodiment of spectacular friendship, yet for me, they are nothing more than “friends with benefits”. These groups, that are apparently bound with magical spells of protection tend to split into fragments when the exams approach near. Many tiny fragments from these groups reach to me complaining that nobody else is willing to help them. This attitude left me in a shock many times when some very darling members were left out all alone. Upon asking, they told us that their so-called friends couldn’t stand their increasing grades.
We had our literature’s exam the following day, but the syllabus was very ambiguous and unclear to the whole class. I went to the teacher’s office along with five other members of the fantasy group. Turned out, our teacher told us almost everything that was to come in the paper. To my surprise, those girls forbade each other to tell their very own group members, just because they wanted to score higher than the rest. The point is, what we consider as a fantasy, might be an uglier one!
Judging others is the easiest task to do, and trust me it has a wider scope than any other field nowadays. You can judge others anywhere, at any time, without any tax or payment. See that girl, how can she wear a neon-pink lipstick? Isn’t she aware of her dark complexion? Neon sucks on the people darker tones. Now, behind the lens, it is me, wearing a bright yellow headscarf, fully aware of my dark complexion. You know this is self-confidence! But that girl, she should be careful about her looks, I mean… Yeah, whatever!
When it comes to us, we have many applicable excuses and sensible logic. Whereas, when we judge others, even the lamest excuse can suffice. Do you guys ever think that way? If not, trust me guys, we all judge. Nobody’s perfect! Yet, we can aim for achieving the slightest positivity in this huge world. I love you all!
