Dawn of the ugly era of Comparisons.

There is always that one town that needs the power puff girls to save the day. However, all we can see today is the grim adventures of Billy and Mandy where all the Billies are constantly being reminded that they are useless, they need someone to make their life decisions and that they are mentally weak and physically unstable. The age of Monster University has ended where all the monster, however shabby, however different, was welcomed in by the community, where nobody was judged on the basis of their unique appearances.

“Comparison is the best way to judge our progress but not with others, compare your yesterday with your today.”

The concept of “The Survival Of the Fittest”, which emerged in late Nineteenth Century, when Darwin’s theory of origin came to the scene, brought many conflicts to this world. Herbert Spencer first used the phrase, after reading Charles Darwin‘s On the Origin of Species, in his Principles of Biology (1864), in which he drew parallels between his own economic theories and Darwin’s biological ones. This phrase, however, was interpreted differently by different people of different ages.

The idea stands at the verge of the cliff today, where it is about to plunge into the pool of ugly comparisons. For instance, if I have to survive as the fittest, I would not consider working on my own self, and rather will prefer comparing myself to others so that I might bring them down, thus proving myself right.

In today’s world, while scrolling down the Instagram, all we can see is a vast race of competition. Monsters ready to gulp the monsters. The immensely increasing trend of food blogging in which all food bloggers are in a continuous race to make their blogs look up to the mark. Those who can’t afford to dine out on a regular basis are comparing their social and monetary status with the food bloggers thus insulting them to be dishonest. I have seen many food bloggers updating their Instagram stories, begging for their followers to stop all the negativity and hatred.

Regardless of whether it’s via web-based networking media or throughout everyday life, it’s anything but difficult to begin contrasting ourselves with others, particularly when we’re feeling especially defenseless. How can she easily adjust work and parenthood, while I’m scarcely keeping it together? For what reason wouldn’t I be able to look that great in a swimsuit on my marvelous excursion? How might I find a stylish line of work that way? See how immaculate her life is. This propensity is best depicted by Pastor Steve Furtick, who once stated, “The reason we battle with frailty is that we contrast our in the background and every other person’s feature reel.”

1

Furthermore, that is the reality: We frequently don’t get the opportunity to see the truth behind the facade of a cautiously curated Instagram or a cleaned individual brand. In the event that we did, we probably won’t feel so desirous or mediocre.

While sitting in front of the vanity, on the day of the first visit of my in-laws to be, I was trembling not because I was excited, or nervous or panicked, but because of the agony that I felt when my own mother forbade my younger sister to appear in front of the guests. My mother believed that my in-laws-to-be might choose my younger sister in place of myself. How can a mother discriminate her very own daughters just on the basis of their complexions? Let alone the guests, it revealed to me that my mother also is a believer in the age of comparison.

I worked day and night to make my project outstand, yet the teacher gave me lesser marks because he believed that another group made a better presentation than my group did. This left me shattered because every day, in every educational institute in Pakistan, students are being compared to the others instead of being appreciated for their uniqueness. Every teacher has his/her own technique and if someone tries something out of the box, that student is eliminated from the list of brilliance.

This issue, I believe needs to be put into the limelight. This world deserves so much better than what actually is happening right now. Our people need love, kindness, and a reminder that whoever they are, wherever they live, whatever they believe in, they should learn to own their identity, their body, their origin, and learn to love themselves.

I believe that our judgments and harsh comments dim the spark of uniqueness in someone’s heart every day, a spark which took too long to develop. A spark which took too long, and faced too much, get mature, needs no more than a split second to shatter once and for all. Humiliation is a sin and should be treated as pitiful as possible. It is quite funny that fat is judging fat for being fat, skinny is mocking another skinny for the same reason. I believe that humiliation and judgment are most common in those people who are insecure about themselves. Thus, they try to make others feel insecure too.

I believe that people think that if we are unhappy and have a certain weakness, why let others live confidently with that? Let’s mock them and make them feel equally bad as we do. Whereas, this is wrong and thus needs to be stopped. Only you and I can make a difference. Let’s learn to love ourselves first, embrace our body, our face, and our complexions just like we cherish each and every color of the rainbow. We might like pink more but we never say that yellow is ugly. Every color has its own charm, similarly we all humans have our own auras, our unique beauty and beautiful hearts beating the same rhythm every day.

“Never compare your behind the scenes with someone’s highlight reel, you have no idea how ugly their behind the scenes were.”

Did you know judging others have a huge scope today?

Hello, the world of rainbow hearts and sparkling souls!

WhatsApp Image 2019-06-29 at 1.12.36 PM

I woke up to this beautiful story that one of my friends had uploaded earlier this morning. The story illustrated a meme that showed two judges, judging a painting with a straight line against the plain canvas. The man exclaimed that this painting was useless and the artist would have taken less than a minute to draw it. Meanwhile, there was a snail on the floor with the paintbrush, crying this baby tear of shame. Okay, I won’t lie, I think no meme touched me harder than this one. I felt it! I really did.

This is a very common story nowadays, while less than half of the world is making an effort to change the world, by building something creative, almost the whole world is waiting for judgemental prey. Daily, I see people judging others for the same habits, for the same flaws, for the same mistakes that they, themselves have. This habit is becoming a worldwide dilemma;  a plague that will eat us all, alive!

“Sinners judging sinners, for sinning differently.”

There have been many times, where I said something about somebody, and literally a moment after, I realized that who am I to judge that person when I, myself am no different. See, I believe that one of the major reasons behind judging the efforts of other people is that we think highly of ourselves. We cannot see anyone rising up, we cannot tolerate anybody else excelling. We have become self-centered and selfish to an extent where we have cut down all the connections of humanity when it comes to the workplace.

I might be running a charity to support a million households and writing motivational letters to thousands of people daily to get them out of depression. However, if tomorrow, the same people stand up in front of me, I would instantly recognize them as my rivals. I won’t be their savior, guardian, and their fairy godmother any more, but their rival.

Sitting in the lounge of my department, I saw many girls chattering vibrantly around me, sitting in groups or all alone. Hugging, and kissing the hands of each other, they exchanged the vows of eternal friendship. To the world, they might be an embodiment of spectacular friendship, yet for me, they are nothing more than “friends with benefits”. These groups, that are apparently bound with magical spells of protection tend to split into fragments when the exams approach near. Many tiny fragments from these groups reach to me complaining that nobody else is willing to help them. This attitude left me in a shock many times when some very darling members were left out all alone. Upon asking, they told us that their so-called friends couldn’t stand their increasing grades.

We had our literature’s exam the following day, but the syllabus was very ambiguous and unclear to the whole class. I went to the teacher’s office along with five other members of the fantasy group. Turned out, our teacher told us almost everything that was to come in the paper. To my surprise, those girls forbade each other to tell their very own group members, just because they wanted to score higher than the rest. The point is, what we consider as a fantasy, might be an uglier one!

Judging others is the easiest task to do, and trust me it has a wider scope than any other field nowadays. You can judge others anywhere, at any time, without any tax or payment. See that girl, how can she wear a neon-pink lipstick? Isn’t she aware of her dark complexion? Neon sucks on the people darker tones. Now, behind the lens, it is me, wearing a bright yellow headscarf, fully aware of my dark complexion. You know this is self-confidence! But that girl, she should be careful about her looks, I mean… Yeah, whatever!

When it comes to us, we have many applicable excuses and sensible logic. Whereas, when we judge others, even the lamest excuse can suffice. Do you guys ever think that way? If not, trust me guys, we all judge. Nobody’s perfect! Yet, we can aim for achieving the slightest positivity in this huge world. I love you all!

Adios,

Five feet apart is a beautiful tale of emotional struggles vs. reality.

Five feet apart was my next goal to watch but as it was not available on Netflix, I had to download it from Utorrent. Well, I made my soupy noodles along with Sunnyside egg to relish as I played the movie. First thing first, Cole Sprouse is my new favorite actor these days so yeah I actually watched the movie because of him. So are you in? Because I am so in! 😀

Before I start, this article got published in Daily Times as well, so you guys can have a look over there as well by clicking the link below! 🙂 Thank you so much <3

‘Five Feet Apart’ is a beautiful film on emotional struggles versus reality

Can you love someone you can never touch?

Seventeen years old Stella spends most of her time in the hospital as a cystic fibrosis patient, fighting a war between optimism and fear of losing her loved ones. She is always spreading love and hopes among other patients around her but deep inside, she was also scared like everybody else.

Just like The fault in our stars, Five feet apart is another teenage rom-com with loads of twists and turns, adventure and sleek romance, friendship, and priorities. This #1 New York Times bestselling novel was written by Rachael Lippincott initially and is now a major motion picture starring Cole Sprouse and Haley Lu Richardson.

Starting off with a general introduction (dodging the spoilers), the two love birds; Will, and Stella are suffering from cystic fibrosis. Five feet apart revolves around a rule specific to the disease: In order to avoid cross-infection and bacterial contamination, the patients must remain at a six-feet distance. Our optimistic heroine, Stella breaches the rule by decreasing the safe distance by one foot as the movie’s title suggests; five feet apart. She decides to keep a five-feet scale in between to ensure a safe distance between their bodies. It is then she asks the hunky Will: “Are you in?” to which he responds beautifully: “I am so in.” This line stole many hearts and the gif went viral on social media.

Will emerged as a rebellious soul in the start but his encounter with the charity soul, Stella changed his life once and for all. Their attending Nurse Barb allowed two lovers to break the rules in the past who eventually died. Nurse Barb thought held her leniency accountable for their death and thus, thought that she would be damned if she let that happen again. Despite all the odds against them, Stella learned to live freely as long as she can from Will who famously said that:

“It’s just life, Will. It’ll be over before we know it.”

After Stella and Will are head over heels in love with each other, something strange happens in their lives. That event is a trigger for us, a reminder that life is unpredictable. No matter how hard we try, no matter how long we struggle for something, it just needs a single blow to shatter the whole castle. Our emotions are just like moonstone, reflecting vivid spectrums in every angle, yet the reality is that black hole which can absorb the whole light, abandoning us in the trapdoors of darkness.

While this movie depicts “Where there’s will, there’s a way” concept, at the same time it gives you a heart-wrenching punch that reality is going to get dominant one day. You can never live in an illusion for a long time. After Stella develops the tube infection which led to minor surgery, Will became cautious and stopped seeing her until one day rebellious Stella emerges from the nutshell of caution and regularity. Despite the fact that the frequent meetings of Stella and Will can cause them bigger troubles which could be fatal, Stella stepped up against reality by saying:

“This whole time, I’ve been living for my treatments, instead of doing my treatments so that I can live. I want to live.”

Stella finds a pair of lungs for a transplant which was like a dream come true for her parents. They have been waiting for years for this very moment but when the moment finally came, Stella could not do it. She felt it like a betrayal, to watch your loved one, who saved your life a moment ago, die while you live. While Stella was going through her surgery of lungs transplant, the shackles of reality were winding around their hopes and emotions.

The conscious character Will, who was ready to leave Stella for her safety depicted reality, while the unconscious, vulnerable state of Stella who still wanted to be with Will, beautifully illustrated the emotional struggle. When Will said his last goodbye to Stella, she was on the ventilator; unable to speak and move. Only tears rolled down her rosy cheeks as she shook her head in disapproval. Deep inside, she was screaming that she never wants to live without Will, that she loves him and is dying to spend the rest of her life with him; side by side. The final words of goodbye by Will are very much heart touching as he says:

“You know, people are always saying if you love something, you have to learn to let it go. I thought that was such bullshit, till I watched you almost die. In that moment, Stella, nothing mattered to me, except you. I’m sorry. I don’t want to go. All I want is to be with you. I can’t. I need you to be safe, from me. I don’t know what comes next, but I don’t regret any of this. Could you close your eyes? I just don’t know if I can walk away if you’re still looking at me. Please. I love you so much.”

Emotions are those packets of complexities that create a series of problems in our life. If we pop-open the packet, there will be only a mess. A mess of shattered hopes, dreams, and expectations. We all have these packets in our heart but we should know that reality can pop it open at any instant.

The end of the movie was quite sad, yet ambiguous as Stella pleads to the world in her live broadcast that:

“Human touch. Our first form of communication. Safety, security, comfort, all in the gentle caress of a finger. Or the brush of lips on a soft cheek. It connects us when we’re happy, bolsters us in times of fear, excites us in times of passion and love. We need that touch from the one we love, almost as much as we need air to breathe. But I never understood the importance of touch. His touch. Until I couldn’t have it. So if you’re watching this, and you’re able, touch him. Touch her. Life’s too short to waste a second.”

Learn to say “NO” at times.

We have a limit to our time, energy and interests.

Let’s talk about a very important human behavior that most of us observe these days. There have been many times, many days, when I asked multiple people for random stuff like homework on the leave day, assignments, course outline, paper pattern, and important questions, but the only answers that I got were “Hey, I am a little busy, I will get back to ya soon” or else, “Okay wait, I will send them to you in an hour” (though they never did).

Whereas, I have this particular habit of responding to people as quickly as I can, even if I have to go against my schedule, or out of my comfort zone. I can cease the party or a movie night for a while to send a few pictures of my notes to random people who don’t even talk to me on the campus.

See, if somebody asks you for something, send it right away because he needs at that very moment. Many people just make you wait for minutes, which then turn to hours and ultimately to “I am so sorry I forgot to get back to ya” This is wrong people! Try to respond to people in time and if you cannot, then learn to be patient when it’s your turn. Because when it’s our turn, we never want to be kept waiting. We want instant and abrupt results; within seconds. Life doesn’t work this way, if you want to earn without paying, you will ultimately lose everything when bankruptcy hits you hard!

“We all have these functioning brains built inside our heads that can remind you to eat and drink, breathe and sleep. So what’s wrong with understanding the concept of not being the scape-goat?”

I have worked out a lot on this habit of mine because what I believe is that this habit of mine is somehow making people impatient with me. They think that I am 24/7 available at their service while they can reject me with any kind of lamest excuse without a threat of accountability. Finally, I drew the conclusion that there is a line between helping others and getting used by them. I never understood this line before, but it is true that we all learn from our experiences. I know many girls who just rant all the time about being used by their friends, and that the world is selfish and cold with them.

Trust me, no ranting and complains are gonna get you through this. We all have these functioning brains built inside our heads that can remind you to eat and drink, breathe and sleep. So what’s wrong with understanding the concept of not being the scape-goat? Why don’t you understand that nobody is going to stand up for you except you, yourself?

Girls and Boys, stop letting people use you for their purposes, stop being the scape-goat, and learn to say no. This is not wrong, neither is mean in any way. However, if somebody is still ranting that “NO, I CANT SAY NO TO PEOPLE”, trust me they are playing with their self-respect, public image, and their inner character.

“Finally, I drew the conclusion that there is a line between helping others and getting used by them.”

I’ve seen people who complain that they can’t say no to people, fighting like animals when it came to their public image. That is when I realized that such people are just putting up a show to stir up the maximum drama in their lives and the life of people around them. They need attention and spotlight to be focused on them every time. While being honest, they are an explicit threat to all of us and we should try to keep a distance from such people.

“Sometimes, it’s better to let go for the good, than to stick for the destruction.”

See, no person is bad, it is just some people are not meant to be a part of our lives. Some people have an aura that can absorb all the light inside you. They have a different mindset than you have. Keeping up with such people, or trying to make things work out will only make things worse. A snake will always remain the snake because he is created to bite. It doesn’t mean that the snake is evil, but is just harmful. It is a reminder that we all are different from each other.

Hello beautiful souls!

This musing is just to remind you guys that stay safe, stay away from the people with negative energies. It is not their fault, they aren’t bad, it’s just that they will never change however hard you try. Sometimes, it’s better to let go for the good, than to stick for the destruction.

Fear is a prison but its time to break out!

Dearest Fear,

I have been encountering you in many fields of my life. Sometimes in the form of boogey-man beneath my bed, another day, when my eyes were closed while shampooing my hair, I felt there is someone behind me, watching with long nails ready to pierce through my ribs.

“Fear is a constant feeling of horror that clings to our ribs throughout our lives.”

This feeling dominates in the times especially when we are alone and depressed. I can bet that each and every person on this planet has a different definition of fear. For me, it could be a ladybird entering my brain through my nose, for someone else, it could be losing their loved ones, rejection, mockery, disrespect, defamation, heights, depths, water, buildings, earthquakes, and what not.

Despite the fact that fear feels so so real, and even at times it deems to take us inside our graves. However, fear is just a delusion that one can easily overcome by one and only “Encounter.” If you fear something, keep this thing in mind that it is just a misinterpretation of reality. That nothing about fear is real, you are living, breathing and conscious. You can beat any danger, any trial, any challenge. All you have to do is to believe in yourself and be confident. Fear fades like a vulnerable flame of the candle that can die with a single blow of courage. And after that, nobody can stop you from achieving your goals.

Well, the reason that I am writing to you is that I got rid of one of my fears tonight.

Image result for playground climbing equipmentsYou recognize this arched monkey climber? This is what I feared the most whenever I stepped inside any playground since my early days. Today, after 22 years of my life, I finally overcame this fear. I climbed halfway through it the first day, increased one rod the other day, hung like a monkey on the top rod on the third day, screamed to my sisters for help, felt like I am gonna seep through the gaps like a slime 😀 But finally, I was able to do it with a hard lump in my stomach tonight. I got it!

What I actually did was that I made it very clear to myself that it is just a feeling that I can seep through the gaps. This has got nothing to do with the reality as I am big enough not to fall down 😀 It took me so long to make it through but once I completed the whole arch, I ran to do it again. And I climbed it three times in a row then.

Other than this, I recently got an interview call for internship from one of the summer schools. Now, I have this specific feeling of discomfort, awkwardness, and indecisiveness. I don’t know what to do, either to go for the interview or not, what would happen, what if they don’t like my answers, what if  I broke down there and if I had a panic attack, and much more is going on inside my mind at the moment. This fear can only be defeated by appearing for the interview and I am looking forward to that. Let’s hope for the best!

Heya beautiful souls, I hope you are living a fearless life with a lot of positivity and propagative activities going on around you. It is just a sweet reminder to believe in yourself and to conquer the dark territory of fear with that light inside you. The light of positivity!

Adios,

Dreams are an unsolved mystery.

Dreams are the arbitrary shapes that are generated by the cotton candy machine. It consumes a lot of sugar and gives out the sweetest product to this world. Many people can not have this in real, but while they are asleep, they can munch on a mouth full of this fluff. However, sometimes dreams are a dungeon where you are trapped, and there are no doors and windows to escape.

Dreams are the only territory where any soul can glide to the highest of the skies, where one can dive into the deepest of the oceans, and sway with the unseen, magical breeze. Every morning, I wake up with a very strange and a different feeling because either I dreamed something really awkward the night before or saw something overwhelming.

In our literature class, we were discussing Virginia Woolf’s concept of “Stream of Consciousness.” Our professor argued that if somehow, we wake up amid the dream, we can never start the dream from the same place when we sleep again. Whereas, two other girls with me disagreed with this claim. I explained to him that I can dream the same dream for as many times as I want to start and from whichever part I like. Whereas he still resisted that no such thing can happen.

Well, then there are times when you wake up in the morning after watching the complete episode of the dream, and the moment you open up your eyes, you can not even recall the single moment. You can feel that you can recall it all, and you think really hard but cannot remember.

Dreams are a mystery that no age and civilization could succeed to solve. Some say they are illusions, others say they are visions; blueprints of one’s future life. Some say dreams have nothing to do with reality, they are an amalgam of needs, wants, expectations, lust, infatuation, love, wishes, and greed.

“They say dreams do come true, but they forget to tell that nightmares are dreams too.”

They say that dreams do come true, if that is the case, trust me none of my dreams in a life span of 22 years ever came true. 😀

Netflix seasons and movies to watch this Season!

Good Morning Angels!

I hope you guys are doing great in your lives and extracting the major pulp out of it. Today, I am here to tell you guys about the Netflix movies that I have watched since my summer vacations have started. Many of them were super cool, while others were just okay! Here is a rating of all the movies and Seasons that I have completed so far, make sure to watch them and share your thoughts on them.

1. The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina:

https://youtu.be/ybKUX6thF8Q

This season was released in October 2018 as a perfect Halloween Treat. It is a gothic fiction with some chilling horror scenes that kept me from sleeping at night 😀 At least they were quite a horror for me, I can’t say anything about others :p  It is one of my favorites so far and I am waiting desperately for season 3 and 4. This is my number 1 season until now.

2. Riverdale:

Okay so, right after The chilling adventures of Sabrina, I switched to Riverdale which turned out to be the perfect treat for my mystery buds. It is a season that is high on guessing games, serial killers, and changing perspectives. The best thing about Riverdale is its dynamic characters that change substantially with the passage of time.  Riverdale has some really appealing faces and one gets really attached with all the characters in there. I am impatiently eager for the fourth season and can’t wait to watch it 🙂 I would definitely recommend this season to those who love rom-coms with a twist of mystery, suspense and mind games.

3. The Christmas Chronicles:

The Christmas Chronicles is the cutest movie one can ever watch! Christmas is in danger because two naughty kids destroyed Santa’s sleigh by mistake and now the Christmas spirit is going down. Santa needs to deliver presents to the world but the reindeers, his magic hat, and the bag of the presents are all lost. Katie and Teddy are in Santa’s forever naughty list, so they decide to help Santa and they all save the Christmas just in time. This movie, though is really Christmasy and Winter-ish, can be cherished at any time of the year.

4. The Christmas Prince:

The Christmas Prince is another beautiful Christmasy rom-com with a lot of twists and turns in the story. Journalist Amber breaks into the Royal Palace as Princess Emily’s tutor to dig some dirty stuff regarding Prince Richards who is the King-to-be. Unable to find anything controversial, Amber falls in love with the Prince. However, she finds a truth about the Prince that changed everything. Richard loses his crown because of Amber’s mistake but she, being an efficient journalist saves the crown and the King’s empire from falling.

5. The Princess Switch:

The Princess switch is a cure for sore eyes. With wonderful Christmas vibes, this movie is an extravagant Winter treat that satisfies your cozy cravings. Princess switch is based upon a very common concept of switching identities by taking advantage of the identical faces. I must say I loved this movie first of all because of the visuals and secondly because Vanessa Hudgens did amazing acting in there. It is a subtle and beautiful combo of two side by side love stories. This movie gives us a positive message that love is all that matters more than the blood, and honor.

6. A train to Busan:

Image result for train to busan

Train to Busan is one of the most intense Zombie Apocalypse movies. I watched this movie a few weeks ago and trust me I wasn’t able to sleep that whole night. The movie has many hidden messages including the extreme consequences of selfishness and hasty decisions. How a single decision, that is made in haste and selfishness can take a million lives without you even knowing. We all shall think twice before doing something selfish as we never know when the Karma is going to knock back at your door, taking away your loved ones, and eventually yourself.

Too much Christmas to digest? 😀

I am going to watch a very stylish season “Elite” next that appears to me just like Riverdale; full of romance, suspense, and mystery. Want to watch along? See the trailer first! The link is down below:

Enjoy the Summers, Pamper yourself and don’t forget to love yourself! <3

How do I Organize my Blog Posts?

While scrolling down the Instagram feed, did you ever ponder upon how can some blogs look gorgeously aesthetic? Once upon a time on a cold winter night, it worked out for me too when I started getting more audience on my WordPress Blog.

See I started with one or two followers and fortunately, I was able to grow my audience up-to 800+ people. This curiosity made me dig into stuff, and these are some tips and tricks that I found out meanwhile. I hope this post will help you guys in maintaining an even more amazing blog than you already have.

1. Carry a planner Every time:

plan.png

Every morning when I prepare my bag for the university, the first thing that I keep in my bag is a tiny planner. No matter where I am going, a planner is a must-to-have. Wondering why? I was sitting in a cozy coffee shop, reading “Three Daughters of Eve”. As I closed the book, I stumbled upon many amazing ideas or a stream of the writer’s consciousness you can say. I opened up my bag and penned down all those ideas on my planner. Turned out, those ideas shaped up into a wonderful prose that I published on my blog later that evening.

2. Stick to the theme:

theme.jpg

Do you ever feel that whenever you open up your blog to write something new, your posts tend to revolve around a specific core idea or theme? Because this surely happens with me. Whenever I start writing my blog, my blog eventually inclines toward a specific idea every time. My blog deems incomplete to me if it is not giving some positive message to the people. “Positive Vibes Only”, for instance, is my ultimate goal and I religiously stick to this aura no matter what. As per my experience, most of the people are contributing to an idea when they write their posts but the idea here should refer to the needs of the people. Your idea should be helpful to your audience in a unique way, because this is the only thing that will make people genuinely interested in your blog. Your blogs should be diverse and colorful, yet there should be a signature theme that makes you stand out amongst a million others out there.

3. Understand your Audience:

Learning about your audience is the major part of any publication either a blog or book. While writing, the writer must always keep his/her audience in mind; about their background knowledge, their expertise, their language, beliefs and many more. If I am writing in English, it is because most of my audience is from regions like the UK, America, Nigeria, India, Pakistan, UAE, Canada and other countries where English is widely understood. If I start writing in Korean, maybe just 5% of my total audience might be able to understand it, thus making 95% of them to lose interest in my work. Your audience plays a primary role in developing your blog into a super success.

Related image

Other than that, your blogs shall be very well-explanatory. If you are writing about a current issue that just took place in your region, you should provide a thorough background history of the event to accommodate the unacquainted audience. Always write your content thinking that the reader might be amateur or unacquainted with the topic under discussion.

4. Use Striking Layouts:

ae.jpg

No matter how old we grow, our cravings for aesthetic images, rainbow unicorns, and neon lights can never die. Whatever content you are publishing on your blog, just make sure the layout goes beautifully with your ideas. If you are an aesthetic freak, white is your color. However, if your blogs demand a punk layout, variations of black, purple and hot pink will be the best option for you. If your visuals are pastel-ish, baby blue, baby pink, baby gray, and baby green will work wonders. Sparkling images can also be used to embellish your layouts which can include banana prints, pineapple patterns, coffee cups or any prints that go well with your posts.

5. Do not take a leave:

Image result for aesthetic traveling blogs and laptop

Many of us take leave from blogging due to our busy schedules during work days. Whereas, vacations also bring much more adventures and commitments to us. The point is, do not take a break, even if you’re out for shopping or are traveling places, make sure to turn on your data for a while and post a minimal post regarding your experience, your feelings, or even an apology for being unavailable. Just a single selfie will suffice your absence. Most of the time you lose your audience during the blogging break, which is an unhealthy catalyst for your blogging. The key to a successful blog is the connection, a strong bond between you and your readers. I also take long breaks from the blogging and trust me I lose substantial audience whenever I do so. While leaving for a vacation, make sure you pack your laptop or tablet for instant blogging on the way. Take out some time to write to people maybe while sipping on the coffee, or just before going to the bed.

6. Schedule your posts:

Whenever you feel like writing in bulk, make sure to schedule your posts. WordPress gives you an amazing post planner where you can always organize your posts. If you are feeling blue or do not feel like writing, you already have the bulk of posts scheduled over the week. The posts will be automatically get published on the scheduled date. If you are planning on taking a break or going somewhere remote, you can plan the posts for over the week or more.

7. Use Appealing Visuals:

While reading a post, do you ever feel yourself more inclined and appealed to the posts with striking images, adorable gifs, and startling videos as compared to those without the visuals? That is the answer, most of the people out there, who are reading your content, are the people like you and me. Do not forget to go through your website and analyze it from the angle of a reader. This will not only make you an avid observer, but also an improved blog creator. If your blog looks appealing to you, try to find something that the readers might find unpleasant. It may be your layout, the irrelevancy of the picture that you used with your content, or this and that. Visuals are more likely to grab the attention of the readers.

8. Giveaways Work Wonders:

We sometimes buy extra things from the store like highlighters, lipsticks, earrings, watches, jewelry, notebooks, fancy planners, and many more things that rot untouched on a dusty shelf in our room. I literally have 6 highlighters, that either I ordered online, or bought in person, but didn’t use at all because I feel like the highlighter that I am already using goes better with my skin. Sometimes, you buy a pack of nail paints and you just like two shades out of them, while the rest of the three rot in hell for life, untouched! Why not find a better way out to make somebody’s day, while keeping the stuff from being wasted? I have an even better idea!

No matter which platform are you blogging on, giveaways are a surefire way to win your readers’ hearts. It is not necessary to do expensive accessories or flattering makeup hauls for giveaways, rather you can give DIY bookmarks, planners, organizers, decorated notebooks and other such creative stuff to the people. The basic purpose of giveaways is to connect with maximum people. Your blog always gets a bulk of traffic whenever you are doing a giveaway. People are always up for getting surprise gifts, either fancy or simple. Because who doesn’t love free stuff???

9. Observe your Blog’s witching hours:

You know witches are mostly active during the witching hour. Psychological literature suggests that apparition experiences and sensed presences are most common between the hours of 2 and 4 a.m., corresponding with a 3 a.m. peak in the amount of melatonin in the body. More recently, the hours between midnight and 2 a.m. have been considered the witching hour.

Find your blog’s witching hour by noticing the time and days on which you get maximum post views, page views, likes, and shares. It happens that my blog receives the most traffic on Tuesdays. Is it the same for your blog? Do you know how to check? I use WordPress Analytics which shares everything from how many page views I receive to how many visitors are on my site at any given moment. Typically I like to publish posts on Tuesdays that I know will be popular among my readers since I think it gives them an even bigger boost.

The Tiny Sizzle of Magical Dreams.

I want to taste the stars and feel their glitter frost on my warm tongue with a tiny sizzle. Deep inside my head, I knew that it is no more than a wild craving. So whenever it snowed, I drew out my tongue to catch the tiny snowflakes on it, imagining them to be the tiny wafers of shimmering stars that are aesthetically designed and sent down by God as a reward of all the virtues, that we humans possess. This tiny imagination gave me the best merriment and satisfaction, which taught me that it’s all in your mind; either twist your thoughts and turn them into the brownie points that are in favor of your dreams, or fall a victim to the pessimism and depressions.
