Fear is a prison but its time to break out!

Dearest Fear,

I have been encountering you in many fields of my life. Sometimes in the form of boogey-man beneath my bed, another day, when my eyes were closed while shampooing my hair, I felt there is someone behind me, watching with long nails ready to pierce through my ribs.

“Fear is a constant feeling of horror that clings to our ribs throughout our lives.”

This feeling dominates in the times especially when we are alone and depressed. I can bet that each and every person on this planet has a different definition of fear. For me, it could be a ladybird entering my brain through my nose, for someone else, it could be losing their loved ones, rejection, mockery, disrespect, defamation, heights, depths, water, buildings, earthquakes, and what not.

Despite the fact that fear feels so so real, and even at times it deems to take us inside our graves. However, fear is just a delusion that one can easily overcome by one and only “Encounter.” If you fear something, keep this thing in mind that it is just a misinterpretation of reality. That nothing about fear is real, you are living, breathing and conscious. You can beat any danger, any trial, any challenge. All you have to do is to believe in yourself and be confident. Fear fades like a vulnerable flame of the candle that can die with a single blow of courage. And after that, nobody can stop you from achieving your goals.

Well, the reason that I am writing to you is that I got rid of one of my fears tonight.

Today, after 22 years of my life, I finally overcame this fear. I climbed halfway through it the first day, increased one rod the other day, hung like a monkey on the top rod on the third day, screamed to my sisters for help, felt like I am gonna seep through the gaps like a slime 😀 But finally, I was able to do it with a hard lump in my stomach tonight. I got it!

What I actually did was that I made it very clear to myself that it is just a feeling that I can seep through the gaps. This has got nothing to do with the reality as I am big enough not to fall down 😀 It took me so long to make it through but once I completed the whole arch, I ran to do it again. And I climbed it three times in a row then.

Other than this, I recently got an interview call for internship from one of the summer schools. Now, I have this specific feeling of discomfort, awkwardness, and indecisiveness. I don’t know what to do, either to go for the interview or not, what would happen, what if they don’t like my answers, what if  I broke down there and if I had a panic attack, and much more is going on inside my mind at the moment. This fear can only be defeated by appearing for the interview and I am looking forward to that. Let’s hope for the best!

Heya beautiful souls, I hope you are living a fearless life with a lot of positivity and propagative activities going on around you. It is just a sweet reminder to believe in yourself and to conquer the dark territory of fear with that light inside you. The light of positivity!

Adios,

xoxo.

How do I Organize my Blog Posts?

While scrolling down the Instagram feed, did you ever ponder upon how can some blogs look gorgeously aesthetic? Once upon a time on a cold winter night, it worked out for me too when I started getting more audience on my WordPress Blog.

See I started with one or two followers and fortunately, I was able to grow my audience up-to 800+ people. This curiosity made me dig into stuff, and these are some tips and tricks that I found out meanwhile. I hope this post will help you guys in maintaining an even more amazing blog than you already have.

1. Carry a planner Every time:

Every morning when I prepare my bag for the university, the first thing that I keep in my bag is a tiny planner. No matter where I am going, a planner is a must-to-have. Wondering why? I was sitting in a cozy coffee shop, reading “Three Daughters of Eve”. As I closed the book, I stumbled upon many amazing ideas or a stream of the writer’s consciousness you can say. I opened up my bag and penned down all those ideas on my planner. Turned out, those ideas shaped up into a wonderful prose that I published on my blog later that evening.

2. Stick to the theme:

Do you ever feel that whenever you open up your blog to write something new, your posts tend to revolve around a specific core idea or theme? Because this surely happens with me. Whenever I start writing my blog, my blog eventually inclines toward a specific idea every time. My blog deems incomplete to me if it is not giving some positive message to the people. “Positive Vibes Only”, for instance, is my ultimate goal and I religiously stick to this aura no matter what. As per my experience, most of the people are contributing to an idea when they write their posts but the idea here should refer to the needs of the people. Your idea should be helpful to your audience in a unique way, because this is the only thing that will make people genuinely interested in your blog. Your blogs should be diverse and colorful, yet there should be a signature theme that makes you stand out amongst a million others out there.

3. Understand your Audience:

Learning about your audience is the major part of any publication either a blog or book. While writing, the writer must always keep his/her audience in mind; about their background knowledge, their expertise, their language, beliefs and many more. If I am writing in English, it is because most of my audience is from regions like the UK, America, Nigeria, India, Pakistan, UAE, Canada and other countries where English is widely understood. If I start writing in Korean, maybe just 5% of my total audience might be able to understand it, thus making 95% of them to lose interest in my work. Your audience plays a primary role in developing your blog into a super success.

Other than that, your blogs shall be very well-explanatory. If you are writing about a current issue that just took place in your region, you should provide a thorough background history of the event to accommodate the unacquainted audience. Always write your content thinking that the reader might be amateur or unacquainted with the topic under discussion.

4. Use Striking Layouts:

No matter how old we grow, our cravings for aesthetic images, rainbow unicorns, and neon lights can never die. Whatever content you are publishing on your blog, just make sure the layout goes beautifully with your ideas. If you are an aesthetic freak, white is your color. However, if your blogs demand a punk layout, variations of black, purple and hot pink will be the best option for you. If your visuals are pastel-ish, baby blue, baby pink, baby gray, and baby green will work wonders. Sparkling images can also be used to embellish your layouts which can include banana prints, pineapple patterns, coffee cups or any prints that go well with your posts.

5. Do not take a leave:

Many of us take leave from blogging due to our busy schedules during work days. Whereas, vacations also bring much more adventures and commitments to us. The point is, do not take a break, even if you’re out for shopping or are traveling places, make sure to turn on your data for a while and post a minimal post regarding your experience, your feelings, or even an apology for being unavailable. Just a single selfie will suffice your absence. Most of the time you lose your audience during the blogging break, which is an unhealthy catalyst for your blogging. The key to a successful blog is the connection, a strong bond between you and your readers. I also take long breaks from the blogging and trust me I lose substantial audience whenever I do so. While leaving for a vacation, make sure you pack your laptop or tablet for instant blogging on the way. Take out some time to write to people maybe while sipping on the coffee, or just before going to the bed.

6. Schedule your posts:

Whenever you feel like writing in bulk, make sure to schedule your posts. WordPress gives you an amazing post planner where you can always organize your posts. If you are feeling blue or do not feel like writing, you already have the bulk of posts scheduled over the week. The posts will be automatically get published on the scheduled date. If you are planning on taking a break or going somewhere remote, you can plan the posts for over the week or more.

7. Use Appealing Visuals:

While reading a post, do you ever feel yourself more inclined and appealed to the posts with striking images, adorable gifs, and startling videos as compared to those without the visuals? That is the answer, most of the people out there, who are reading your content, are the people like you and me. Do not forget to go through your website and analyze it from the angle of a reader. This will not only make you an avid observer, but also an improved blog creator. If your blog looks appealing to you, try to find something that the readers might find unpleasant. It may be your layout, the irrelevancy of the picture that you used with your content, or this and that. Visuals are more likely to grab the attention of the readers.

8. Giveaways Work Wonders:

We sometimes buy extra things from the store like highlighters, lipsticks, earrings, watches, jewelry, notebooks, fancy planners, and many more things that rot untouched on a dusty shelf in our room. I literally have 6 highlighters, that either I ordered online, or bought in person, but didn’t use at all because I feel like the highlighter that I am already using goes better with my skin. Sometimes, you buy a pack of nail paints and you just like two shades out of them, while the rest of the three rot in hell for life, untouched! Why not find a better way out to make somebody’s day, while keeping the stuff from being wasted? I have an even better idea!

No matter which platform are you blogging on, giveaways are a surefire way to win your readers’ hearts. It is not necessary to do expensive accessories or flattering makeup hauls for giveaways, rather you can give DIY bookmarks, planners, organizers, decorated notebooks and other such creative stuff to the people. The basic purpose of giveaways is to connect with maximum people. Your blog always gets a bulk of traffic whenever you are doing a giveaway. People are always up for getting surprise gifts, either fancy or simple. Because who doesn’t love free stuff???

9. Observe your Blog’s witching hours:

You know witches are mostly active during the witching hour. Psychological literature suggests that apparition experiences and sensed presences are most common between the hours of 2 and 4 a.m., corresponding with a 3 a.m. peak in the amount of melatonin in the body. More recently, the hours between midnight and 2 a.m. have been considered the witching hour.

Find your blog’s witching hour by noticing the time and days on which you get maximum post views, page views, likes, and shares. It happens that my blog receives the most traffic on Tuesdays. Is it the same for your blog? Do you know how to check? I use WordPress Analytics which shares everything from how many page views I receive to how many visitors are on my site at any given moment. Typically I like to publish posts on Tuesdays that I know will be popular among my readers since I think it gives them an even bigger boost.

I hope you guys will find this blog helpful!
