Writing Therapy.
Opening up your window to a mesmerising scenery while a frosty kiss of zephyr wishes you a good morning is the merriest feeling in this world, isn’t it?
We all are well aware of the fact that not all of us can afford to travel on vacations and that too on a lavish one where you can get an organic log cabin in one of the finest and lush woods in the countryside. Perhaps, some of you can, but due to time constraints or working routine, you are unable to travel. However, I am here for a lazy substitute for all the couch potatoes and busy bees out there.
Working on a tough project? Coping up with a tacky boss? Bearing up with the worst timetable? No worries! We always tend to extract some free time to get our necks straight and spirits high. While doing so, all you need is a notebook and a spare pencil to drift into your world of imagination. You guessed it right!

Writing is a beautiful form of art that tends to bring people closer and make them go places as well. When I started writing blogs, I had no clue that it will earn me a lot of friends that are more like a family to me now. It is a bond that is developed slowly and steadily through the means of writing. Every day, I get many emails from my fellow bloggers and they literally mean everything to me. When we write to each other, I ask them to share pictures of the tiny things that they do in their daily routine like visiting a local cafe, maintaining their gardens or maybe cooking their favorite meals. Little things in life tend to come and go unappreciated by most of us. However, when you think about them at the end of your night, when the world is fast asleep, you realize that these are the things that actually make a difference in your life.
Whenever I write to my fellow friends, I attach a couple of pictures maybe of my kittens that were born a few weeks ago or the cold coffee that I tried yesterday for the first time, maybe of the scent diffuser that I purchased last week and the list is long. When I am writing about the daily details to them, I really feel fond of the little memories that I looked away instead of cherishing them. This not only makes me feel happy but also takes me down the memory lane. I relive each and every moment and by this time, I live them earnestly.
Take some time out for yourself! Grab a pencil and write about all the good things that you experienced throughout the day. While sitting alone or waiting for your friend, imagine yourself sitting on a rusty bench surrounded by crisp yellow leaves. Feel the warmth of evening breeze and how the fluttering grass whispers a lullaby in your ears. Write down all about it and see how magical your wanderlust could be…
Wanderlust is addicting and if not fulfilled, you feel sick and tired. All you got to do is to imagine everything you want to do, the places you want to visit and the rivers you want to float in, earnestly and start writing them down. This is known as a writing therapy and trust me it works wonders!
Let’s Look forward to the crispy Fall!
